Gallipoli Expedition Stretcher Bearer Revive and Momentum Save
Every full death costs 1 Momentum. A downed teammate is not dead yet. Reviving them (especially with a Stretcher Bearer) saves that ticket. Players lose matches by giving up too early or crawling when they should stay still. Here is exactly what to do.
Core goal: As attackers in Expedition, every full death costs 1 Momentum. A downed teammate is not dead yet. Reviving them (especially with a Stretcher Bearer) saves that ticket. Players lose matches by giving up too early or crawling when they should stay still. The ticket you save is often more valuable than getting back in the fight 10 seconds sooner.
1What Actually Happens When You Go Down
2If You Are Downed: Exact Actions
-
1
Stay completely still if you are not in immediate danger of being finished off.
Crawling makes you bleed out faster. This is the opposite of most shooters and is the most common mistake.
-
2
Call for a Stretcher Bearer or help and wait a few seconds.
In a 25v25 match the ticket you save is often more valuable than getting back in the fight 10 seconds sooner.
-
3
Only crawl if you are completely exposed and will be finished immediately,
or you can reach cover that a teammate can actually reach.
-
4
Do not give up unless no one is coming and you are about to bleed out in the open.
Giving up is a full Momentum loss.
3If You Are the Stretcher Bearer
4Key Decision Points
- Relatively safe or near squad: stay still and wait. Highest chance of saving the ticket.
- Completely open with enemies looking at you: crawl a short distance to the nearest dip or teammate, then stop.
- No Stretcher Bearer and no nearby teammates: give up only after it is clear no one is coming. Do not wait the full bleed-out if the sector is already lost.
5Common Mistakes That Waste Momentum
- Crawling the moment you go down "just in case."
- Giving up instantly because you assume no one will come.
- Stretcher Bearers playing as extra riflemen far ahead of the squad.
- Teams not having at least one Stretcher Bearer per attacking squad on maps with long approaches.
