Gallipoli Expedition Best Classes and Roles for Attackers
Keep Momentum high while taking and securing sectors. Every attacker death costs 1 Momentum. The attack lives or dies on how far forward you push squad beacons and how few lives you waste. Here is the class combination that actually finishes sectors before Momentum runs out.
Core goal: Keep Momentum high while taking and securing sectors. Every attacker death costs 1 Momentum. You must capture the HQ, then immediately build 3 structures on it (or destroy the required objects) before the next sector unlocks. Support objectives give extra Momentum, a forward spawn, and weapons. The attack lives or dies on how far forward you push squad beacons and how few lives you waste doing it.
1Class Breakdown: What Each Role Does
Frontline Builder kit: rifles plus sandbags plus wire. Switch to this the second the HQ is captured. Multiple Engineers stacking on the same structure finish the three required builds much faster. Protect them with Riflemen, Bombers, and an HMG.
2Step-by-Step: What to Do Right Now
-
1
Pick Officer and play aggressively at the start of every sector.
Push up immediately so people spawn closer. Call creeping barrage when crossing open ground.
-
2
Anyone can and must place squad beacons as far forward as possible.
One beacon per platoon. Ideal offense has five beacons up at once. Place yours closer to the enemy than the last one or it gets deleted. After you take a support objective, push parallel to it and wipe the enemy caches and beacons.
-
3
Choose Engineer with the right kit for the moment.
Saboteur while the fight is still moving. Frontline Builder the second the HQ is captured. Stack Engineers on the same structure to finish faster.
-
4
Bring Bombers on every push that hits trenches or clustered defenders.
Extra grenades clear rooms. Stun resistance keeps them throwing while everyone else flinches.
-
5
Keep Stretcher Bearers right behind the lead element.
Medics revive faster and drop medical crates. Build a med station as soon as you have a foothold.
-
6
British attackers: take Light Machine Gunner for mobile suppression.
Heavy Machine Gunner is better once you have a captured position to hold.
3Key Decision Points
- Just captured the HQ? Stop shooting and start building immediately. Capping alone does nothing. Check the objective marker for construct or destroy. Stack Engineers on the same three spots.
- Open ground or next sector? Wait for Officer barrage dust or an HMG to pin the defenders, then move. Do not trickle.
- Support objective available? Take it. Optional but gives Momentum, weapons, and a spawn. Then immediately hunt the parallel enemy caches.
- Your squad already has a beacon close? Do not drop another one nearby. Move yours further forward or leave it.
4Common Mistakes That Bleed Momentum
- Staying on the original spawn instead of creeping beacons forward. The whole squad then has to run the gauntlet every life.
- Capping and leaving without building the three structures. The sector does not unlock.
- Building a second beacon that overwrites a better one already placed.
- Pushing without Officer call-in dust or suppression.
- Letting Engineers work without Riflemen and Bombers covering them. They get suppressed or killed and construction slows to a crawl.
