Deadpool Healpool Build Guide

Make Healpool (Strategist Deadpool) deliver reliable high healing and team-fight value in Marvel Rivals. Covers upgrade priority, Jackpot combos, positioning, anti-dive tactics, and mistakes to avoid.

Role: Strategist Difficulty: High Healing: 20k-30k+ per game
Core Goal

Healpool has a weak early game and high skill ceiling. The core challenge is surviving until upgrades land, then snowballing into a sustained healing and damage-boost powerhouse. Your job: farm upgrades fast, land consistent Sword Ult Jackpots, and coordinate your team around your DPIYA damage boost circle.

Upgrade Path & Step-by-Step Execution

  1. Always take Bouncing Bobblehead first

Near-universal community consensus. It is the best early XP farm, gives multi-throws when upgraded (catch on return for extra casts, third throw is big AoE heal + damage), provides strong emergency burst healing, and pressures enemy positioning.

Throw it low/angled under groups or low allies rather than straight. Keep line of sight to catch returns. Use it off cooldown.

    Pro Tip

High-rank players including self-described #1 Healpool players call Bobblehead first non-negotiable for snowballing upgrades and consistent value.

  2. Second and third upgrades (situational but high-priority)

Common strong path: Bobblehead, then Sword Ult (Final Exam) or Guns (Dual Desert Eagles), then Deadpool in Your Area (DPIYA / E / aura).

    • Sword Ult early is popular because throwing Bobblehead just before or during it helps guarantee Jackpot (hits count toward ability requirements). Upgraded version gives strong team healing + overhealth on Jackpot + potential cooldown resets.
    • Guns next for improved base heal + explosive emoji that heals allies and damages enemies.
    • DPIYA third or soon after: upgraded version gives a 20% damage boost to allies inside the circle while providing healing. Ping and communicate so teammates stay inside.
    Flex Path

If heavy dive/brawl, pull Dash (Healing Hijinks) or Swords earlier. If poke/front-to-back, lean Guns sooner. Avoid Gun Ult almost entirely - community calls it niche compared to Sword Ult.

  3. In-fight execution order and loops

Early (pre-upgrades): Play safer, farm headshots/heals with guns, throw Bobblehead, bounce (Healing Hop) on damaged allies/enemies/walls for healing + fast ult charge. Bouncing on heads is a massive ult-farm and mobility tool.

Once Bobblehead + DPIYA + Sword Ult are up: Push more aggressively with tanks/frontline. Pop DPIYA, use Sword Ult in team fights (aim for Jackpot by spamming Bobblehead/dashes/jumps/abilities), then continue guns or swords. This creates long sustained healing windows (15-25s with good timing).

Weapon usage: Guns for sustained/ranged healing and poke. Switch to swords for anti-dive, frontline brawl, or when DPIYA is active (AoE heal on hits). Dash for enter/exit and mobility.

  4. Ultimate priority

Sword Ult almost always. Use it off cooldown in fights once upgraded. Communicate for team to push in. Gun Ult only in rare niche cases (specific pressure when Bobblehead is down).

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Expected Results

Players with high hours report strong healing (20k-30k+ in good games), MVP potential, and solid anti-dive once core upgrades land. The character is demanding and team-dependent. Upgrade paths are flexible after the first 2-3 based on the match, but Bobblehead first + Sword Ult preference + DPIYA awareness is the consistent community foundation.

Quick Start

Force the Bobblehead priority in your next game. Practice head-bounces and Jackpot combos. Ping your DPIYA circle so teammates know to stay inside for the 20% damage boost.
