Marvel Rivals Next Characters
Everyone has a "next heroes" list — but almost none of it is official. Here is what NetEase has actually confirmed for Season 11, what the game itself is teasing, and which names exist only as datamine files.
Short answer: NetEase has confirmed two new heroes for Season 11 (starting around November 6) without naming them. A Season 10.5 gallery card points hard at Nightcrawler, and dataminers put Doctor Doom in the same season. Everything else is files, not announcements.
Read this first: as of late October 2026, zero unreleased heroes are officially confirmed by name. "Confirmed" lists floating around are leak lists — the datamine groups have been right before (they called Gorr in Season 10), but NetEase can change plans before any announcement.
What's actually confirmed
| Item | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Gorr the God Butcher | Released | Newest hero — Duelist wielding All-Black the Necrosword, launched with Season 10 on Sept 11. 54th playable character. |
| Season 10.5 | Confirmed | Live since Oct 9 — two new game modes and the Path to Doomsday event phases. No new hero this half-season. |
| Two heroes in Season 11 | Confirmed, unnamed | Creative director Guangyun Chen said the team "can't wait to unveil the two heroes coming in Season 11" — names not given. |
| Nightcrawler | Teased in-game | A Season 10.5 gallery card shows Moon Girl holding the Hopesword — the weapon tied to Nightcrawler. The strongest official hint so far, and timing lines up with his Avengers: Doomsday movie return in December. |

FAQ
Who is the next Marvel Rivals character?
Most likely Nightcrawler — he's teased inside the game via the Season 10.5 Hopesword gallery card and tops every leak list. Officially, NetEase has only confirmed "two heroes" for Season 11 without names.
When does Season 11 start?
Around November 6, 2026, when Season 10.5 ends. The hero reveal typically lands close to launch.
Is Doctor Doom confirmed?
No — he's leaked, not confirmed. The Doomsday event arc and December's Avengers film make him a strong bet, but NetEase hasn't named him.
Why do different sites list different "confirmed" heroes?
Because almost all of it is datamine material being labelled "confirmed". Only NetEase announcements count — this page separates the two.
