Where the name comes from

And where the full catalogue lives.

"-dle" = daily puzzle

After Wordle's 2022 explosion, hundreds of clones and originals picked up the "-dle" suffix: Worldle, Globle, Nerdle, Heardle, Taylordle. "Alldle" became shorthand for browsing the whole family.

Directory sites

Catalog sites like alldle.net and alldle.games index the genre — alldle.net lists 1,700+ titles with a "most played" chart; alldle.games curates collections by type and links out to each game's official site.

How to pick

Start with one daily from each row of the tables above — a word game, a survey game, a map game — then add whatever format hooks you. Most take under five minutes.

FAQ

What does "alldle" mean?

Shorthand for "all the -dles" — the entire family of daily browser games that followed Wordle, whether or not their names literally end in -dle.

Are all these games free?

Every game listed here is free to play in a browser. Some (NYT titles beyond the daily, Wonderhop archives) gate extras behind a subscription or pass, but the daily puzzle itself is free everywhere listed.

Do daily games need an account?

Almost never. The genre's convention is no sign-up — progress and streaks live in your browser's local storage.

How many daily games exist?

Directory site alldle.net tracks over 1,700 titles, and new ones launch weekly. The tables above are the ones with real traction.
