Fakerz Dozen — Twelve Are Real. One Is the Faker.
A free daily trivia game you can play right here: thirteen answers in the day's category — twelve really belong, one is invented. Tap the real ones to bank points; tap the Faker and your round ends.
How to play
- 1Press Play for today's category
Each weekday brings a fresh category written by a credited guest writer — with an intro naming the source, the years and the organization behind the list.
- 2Decide on a Doubler
You hold a limited monthly reserve of ×2 multipliers. Activate one before starting and the round scores double — choose your day wisely.
- 3Tap the real answers
Twelve of the thirteen entries genuinely belong to the category. Each correct tap adds to your score — and you can stop anytime to bank it.
- 4Avoid the Faker
One answer is invented or out of place. Touch it and the round ends instantly — though you keep everything banked before it.
- 5Share the scorecard
Your dozen renders as a box of doughnuts for sharing, and your total feeds the monthly leaderboard.
Strategy
Read the intro first
The category screen spells out the exact source and year range — "highest-grossing films of the 90s" and "highest-grossing films ever" produce very different dozens. Most mistakes are misreading the scope.
Bank early, risk late
The skill is knowing when to stop as much as knowing the answers. Tapping nine reals and stopping beats gambling on a tenth you're unsure of.
The Faker hides in plausibility
With twelve true and one false, the impostor is never absurd — it sounds right. Suspect the entry that is almost-but-not-quite in scope: wrong decade, right genre.
Spend Doublers on your categories
Save the monthly ×2 reserve for topics you actually know — a doubled confident round beats a doubled guess.
