Core goal: Get to the Anakin Skywalker guest mission, actually control him in combat, and not waste the one time the game lets you play as prime Clone Wars Anakin. He is not a permanent Operator. He appears in one required mid-campaign mission, you control him for several fights, then he is gone.

1When Anakin Appears

Anakin is playable in the fights. The game switches to his perspective for the combat segments. He is built as a Jedi Knight power fantasy: saber throws that chew groups, Force Push that yeets people off Cloud City ledges, and far higher durability than your regular Operators.

2How to Play Anakin in the Mission

Tel-Rea Vokoss is the Jedi you keep. Anakin's job was to show the ceiling and then leave. After this mission, build your squad around Tel-Rea for ongoing Force-user gameplay.

3Key Decisions You Will Face

Squad for the mission
Bring your normal roster
You do not pick Anakin from the roster. The mission scripted-joins him. Bring whoever you normally run. Luco often gets singled out as the third body in this sequence.
Permadeath and injuries
Do not throw allies into danger
Default difficulty still cares about injuries. Do not throw Hawks or the third ally into stupid positions just because Anakin can carry. They can still die permanently.
Expecting more Anakin
He does not stay on the team
After the mission he loiters at your base for flavor. Do not hold a squad slot waiting for him later. He is gone from gameplay after Chapter 8.
Rushing to Chapter 8
Do not skip side content
Rushing past Chapter 8 side and crisis content means you may be underleveled for the Bespin critical. It is the chapter's main story beat, so it will come regardless.
