Palworld Bellanoir Libero Raid Boss Build

Two confirmed methods to beat Bellanoir Libero raid boss in Palworld. The Gobfin player-attack solo method needs zero base pals, while the condensed army approach uses Jormuntide Ignis for dual-phase coverage. Handle the mid-fight heal and Dark-to-Ice element switch.

2 Methods Solo + Army Phase Switch Dark to Ice 4-Star Condense Required

The Raid Boss Challenge

Bellanoir Libero is summoned via slab at the altar. The fight has two phases: Dark in phase 1, then she heals and switches to Ice in phase 2. Teams built only for Dark get deleted in phase 2. The mid-fight heal can wipe unprepared teams if your DPS cannot outpace the timer. Two practical approaches work: a low-prep Gobfin player-attack solo, or a condensed base-pal army covering both phases.

Core Principle

Bring type coverage for both Dark and Ice phases. Dragon attacks hit Dark super-effectively in phase 1. Fire attacks hit Ice super-effectively in phase 2. Have both ready before the phase switch happens.

Method 1: Gobfin Player-Attack Solo

Most recommended for simplicity. Stack your own player damage with 4 Gobfins in party while mounted for type conversion. Zero base pals needed.

  1. Breed 4 Gobfins to 4 Stars

Passives Vanguard Stronghold Strategist Noble / Fine Furs (flex)

Catch or breed Gobfins at Gobfin Turf. Condense all 4 to 4 stars. Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist stack your player attack and defense while the Gobfins are in your party. The other two passive slots are flexible.

  2. Prepare Two Mounts for Type Conversion

Phase 1 (Dark) Chillet (Dragon type conversion)
Phase 2 (Ice) Ragnahawk Pyrin Chillet Ignis Wixen (non-ride, applies Fire typing)

Riding Chillet converts your attacks to Dragon type for phase 1. When Bellanoir switches to Ice, swap to a Fire mount. Wixen works as a non-ride alternative that applies Fire typing while deployed. Same investment: 4-star preferred, Vanguard plus mobility passives.

  3. Optimize Player Gear and Stats

    • Stat points: Dump almost all into Attack. Use Memory Wipe medicine to respec if needed.
    • Pendants: Attack Pendant +1 and +2.
    • Food: Eat attack-boosting food (Mozzarina Burger or equivalent) before the fight.
    • Weapons: Multi-guided missile launcher, rocket launcher, gatling, or plasma cannon. Flamethrower helps in Ice phase.
    • Optional: Dark and Ice resistance rings.
  4. Execute the Fight

Summon Bellanoir, mount Chillet, keep the 4 Gobfins in party, and unload with your strongest weapons while dodging. Share damage with the mount on most hits to protect your HP.

When she heals and switches to Ice form, swap mount immediately to your Fire mount (or pull Wixen). Continue blasting. Keep moving at all times.

    Do Not Stand Still

She punishes stationary players hard. Pre-position your mounts and keep movement up. Swap pals only during brief safe windows.

Method 2: Condensed Base-Pal Army

For players who prefer set-it-and-forget or want to farm the raid repeatedly for eggs and slabs.

  1. Build a Dual-Phase Pal Army

Best Single Pal Jormuntide Ignis (Fire/Dragon dual coverage)
Phase 1 Alternatives Jetragon (Dragon) Astegon (Dark resistance)
Phase 2 Alternatives Blazamut (Fire) Jormuntide Ignis (Fire)

Jormuntide Ignis is the most recommended single-pal solution. Its dual Fire/Dragon typing resists both phases and hits hard throughout. Catch on Feybreak, give moves like Magma Serpent, Flame Storm, or Seed Mine. Condense to 4 stars and max souls.

Alternatively, run separate Dragon types for phase 1 and Fire types for phase 2, then swap base pals mid-fight when the phase changes.

  2. Invest in Condensation and Souls

Max condensation and souls matter more than raw level. Passives such as Legend, Musclehead, Serenity, and Demon God significantly boost damage. Green-quality guns and under-condensed pals will not outpace the heal timer.

  3. Add Optional Party Support

Run the same 4 Gobfins plus Chillet or Ragnahawk from Method 1 as party support for extra player damage while the base army works. This hybrid approach speeds up clears significantly.

  4. Keep the Base Sparse

Keep the base minimal (food bowl only) so you can quickly rebuild the altar if the attempt fails. A cluttered base makes recovery slower between attempts.

Key Decision Points

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Building Bellanoir Libero as a Fighter

After farming eggs from the raid, the recommended combat passives for Bellanoir Libero are Siren of the Void (already native on Libero), Demon God, Musclehead, and Serenity.

Feed Dark Whisp skill fruit. Keep the signature moves Nightmare Bloom and Flame Waltz. Fully condense, max IVs with ability glasses, trust 10, and soul for Attack, Defense, and HP. Some players breed Vampiric as a flexible swap via the surgery table for certain bosses, then switch back to Musclehead.
