5-Pal Passive All in Spheres +80% ATK Solenne Buff Legendary Bow 24,000 ATK

The Archer Meta Concept

The Mechanical Bow meta build stacks player attack, bow-specific damage, charge speed, and explosive arrows through a fully passive party. All five pals stay in their spheres, providing partner skill buffs while you deal all the damage with the Legendary Mechanical Bow. Players report clearing most Hard Mode bosses with just the bow, party buffs, and mobility gear.

Core Principle

Every pal in the party provides a passive buff through their partner skill. No pal needs to be summoned. The key requirement is that all five pals must be different species to keep Solenne's +80% player ATK buff active. Variants of the same base species (e.g., Robinquill + Robinquill Terra) count as different species.

Building the Loadout

  1. Get and Upgrade the Mechanical Bow

Unlock at tech level 67. Craft and upgrade to Legendary (24,000 ATK) for maximum per-shot power. Ammo is cheap (Soralite-based). Pair it as your primary weapon. Keep a Plasma Rifle as backup for sustained fire if needed. Always aim for weak points and headshots.

  2. Assemble the Core Passive Party

Put these five pals in your party. Condense and max-rank them for full partner skill strength. Leave them in spheres for pure player damage.

Slot 1 Solenne (+80% player ATK, all pals different species)
Slot 2 Robinquill (+35% bow damage)
Slot 3 Robinquill Terra (+30% bow charge speed)
Slot 4 Loomen (arrows explode on contact, +~30% player ATK as extra damage)
Slot 5 Gobfin Ignis or Gobfin (+20% player ATK, stacks with Solenne)

This exact combo is the clean archer setup that melts towers. Solenne is mandatory as the biggest single multiplier. Robinquill Terra's charge speed makes a noticeable DPS difference. Loomen's explosive arrows add significant extra damage per hit.

  3. Stack Passives on Support Pals

These passives apply while pals are in the party (no summoning needed). Stack them across all four non-active pals:

    • Vanguard - Player ATK increase, stacks across all party pals
    • Stronghold Strategist - Player DEF increase, stacks across all party pals
    • Idiosyncratic - Player health regen
    • Healing Coach - Player health recovery, or Reload Master if draw/reload speed matters

Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist are the non-negotiable pair. They stack across the entire party, so four pals each with Vanguard gives a massive cumulative ATK bonus.

  4. Equip Accessories for Attack and Mobility

    • Dogen's Emblem or Attack Pendant - Player and Pal Attack boost
    • Warsect Terra's Belt or similar DEF/HP accessory - Survivability
    • Triple jump boots - Mobility for dodging while aiming
    • Glider - Repositioning during boss attacks

Stay at range, charge fully, hit weak points, and let the explosive arrows do the work. Mobility gear helps you dodge while the bow deals the damage.

  5. Condense All Pals and Save Party Presets

Fully condense all five pals. Partner skills scale hard with condensation rank. Save party presets for quick swaps between different boss types. The difference between 0-star and max-condensed pals is night and day for the buff values.
