Palworld 1.0 Full Release - Best Base Farming Route

Multi-base farming progression route for Palworld 1.0. Starter base to mid-game ore/coal peak to specialized outposts. Pal assignments, coordinates, and passive resource production.

Version 1.0 Full Release Bases 3-4 slots Focus Passive farming Route South to Central to Islands

Why Multi-Base Farming Matters

In Palworld 1.0, manual resource grinding bottlenecks progression hard. Ore and coal for ingots, plus food and crops, require constant attention if you're running a single base. The solution is multi-base specialization: let Pals auto-gather at dedicated outposts while you explore and fight.

With 3-4 base slots, the goal is minimal travel, on-site smelting, raid defense, and passive stockpiles. Each base handles one resource type efficiently rather than cramming everything into one inefficient location.

Progression Route

Starter base (south, levels 1-15) to Main ore/coal peak (central, levels 15-50) to Specialist outposts (oil, sulfur, crops on island chains). Fast travel and flying mounts minimize downtime between bases.

Stage 1: Early Game Starter Base

Plateau of Beginnings North

~232, -487
Flat land, easy early resources (stone, wood, ore, Paldium, berries), low-level enemies (1-3). Alternative: Ore Galore hilltop (~156, -397) with ~8 nodes and a bridge choke for defense.

Setup Actions

  • Build Palbox and basic structures (feed box, beds, plantation)
  • Assign versatile early Pals: Tombat for mining/transport, Penking for multi-role, Vixy in ranch for spheres and gold, Broncherry or Arsox for planting and kindling
  • Stock feed box heavily to prevent hunger stops
  • Clear resource nodes inside your base perimeter before expanding
  • Run this base until you unlock a second base slot and hit level 15-20

Stage 2: Mid-Game Main Base

Guardian Ore + Coal Peak

~190, -40
~8 ore and ~6 coal nodes in one build radius. Smelt ingots on-site with zero hauling. Elevated terrain is easy to wall and defend against raids. Enemy levels ~20-25. East of Sealed Realm of the Guardian fast travel point.

Setup Actions

  • Lay stone foundations to prevent sliding on slopes
  • Assign dedicated miners (Tombat and higher-tier mining Pals) and transporters
  • Add food Pals for sustained operation - berry plantation plus cooking
  • Set up breeding farm and ranch for passive production
  • Build walls and defense - elevated position with choke points handles raids better than old cliff spots
  • Use as production center - smelting, crafting, and breeding all run here

Stage 3: Specialized Outposts

Use remaining base slots for parallel production. Each outpost should run 15-20 high-level Pals with a massive food buffer (thousands of salad) and a monitoring stand to restrict jobs. Check storage periodically.

Mining and Smelting Outpost

~259, -225
Verdant Brook plateau - flat terrain with ~8 ore nodes. On-site smelting for continuous ingot production without hauling to main base.

Oil and Late Resources

~-646, 270 / ~583, 144
Sakurajima for oil production. Sunreach Soralite cluster for endgame gear materials. New 1.0 aquatic building enables water-based spots.

Farming and Crops Outpost

Flexible location
Compact plantation setup with yield-boosting Pals. Stack plantations vertically using level 55 Japanese furniture on walls for space efficiency.

Key Pal Assignments

Pal Role Why
Prunelia Yield Booster Partner skill boosts crop yield. Needs transporters paired.
Braloha Planter / Gatherer High planting and gathering rank for efficient farming.
Lullu / Ghangler Waterer Ghangler is nocturnal for 24/7 watering coverage.
