ZZZ Miyabi Yanagi Disorder Team Guide
Quick-swap rotation to maximize Frost Moon procs via Disorder - the fastest and most fluid Miyabi team setup.

How the Team Works
Miyabi needs 6 Fallen Frost stacks for her Frost Moon. Disorder triggers (Ice + Electric reaction) instantly refill stacks, ignore Ice RES, and boost damage. Yanagi produces on-demand Electric anomaly with her EX Special, making her the fastest and most reliable Disorder trigger for Miyabi. The goal is to pump out as many Frost Moons per rotation as possible.
Role of Each Agent
Miyabi
Main DPS. Applies Frostburn anomaly and builds Fallen Frost stacks. Frost Moon is her big damage hit (-6 stacks). She wants to spend time building stacks and firing Frost Moons, not waiting for stack regeneration.
Yanagi
Disorder detonator. Uses EX Specials to apply Electric anomaly and trigger Disorder on Miyabi's Frostburn. Each Disorder gives Miyabi 3+ fresh stacks, removes the spent anomaly, and ignores Ice RES for that burst. Yanagi's role in this team is fast anomaly generation, not sustained DPS.
Players report getting 1-2 extra Frost Moons per rotation compared to non-Yanagi teams. The quick-swap rhythm feels smooth once learned and Disorder numbers regularly hit 500k+.
Rotation Steps
1
Miyabi Open - apply Frostburn and build stacks
Start on Miyabi. Use EX Special to build Fallen Frost stacks and apply Frostburn anomaly to the enemy. Swap-cancel quickly once anomaly is applied - don't wait for stacks to naturally drain.
2
Yanagi Trigger Disorder - refill Miyabi's stacks
Switch to Yanagi. Use EX Special (1-2 times) to apply Electric anomaly and trigger Disorder. The Disorder consumes Miyabi's Frostburn, gives Miyabi 3+ stacks instantly, and boosts the hit's damage with RES ignore. Yanagi's polarity mechanic makes this reliable every rotation.
3
Miyabi Fire Frost Moon - capitalize on fresh stacks
Swap back to Miyabi. With stacks refilled from Disorder, immediately use Frost Moon for the big damage hit. Re-apply Frostburn with EX/charged basics to set up the next Disorder cycle.
4
Repeat the quick-swap loop
Yanagi Disorder refresh - Miyabi Frost Moon. Interweave Ultimate for both agents during stun windows or when anomaly is fully built. Third slot agent abilities fit naturally into the gaps between the two main swaps - use their EX/Ult when available without disrupting the core rhythm.
Perfect dodges and dodge counters while off-field increase energy recovery and smooth the swap timing. Practice the rhythm in trials or Hollow Zero before Deadly Assault.
Third Slot Options
Nicole
Best for pure Disorder emphasis. Charged EX groups enemies and applies debuffs. Double anomaly focus with Nicole pairs naturally with the Ice+Electric loop. Good F2P option and accessible.
Soukaku
Hybrid Ice/Disorder support. Ice ATK buff benefits Miyabi directly. Solid if you want to emphasize Miyabi's direct ice damage alongside the Disorder loop.
Caesar
Defense and utility. Shields, parry mechanics, and team protection. Good for harder endgame content where survivability matters. Less offensive synergy than Nicole/Soukaku but reliable.
Rina
Electric buff support. Boosts Yanagi's Electric anomaly buildup. Better if you want to lean into Yanagi's anomaly generation speed. Works if your Yanagi build is invested.
Choose based on your second team's needs in Deadly Assault. If Soukaku or Caesar is elsewhere, Nicole is the natural default here and doesn't require specific gear investment.
Key Decision Points
Yanagi vs. other Disorder partners (Burnice, Piper)
Yanagi wins for on-demand EX Disorder and stack refill speed. Other Electric/Fire anomaly agents work but the Disorder timing is slower or less reliable. If you have Yanagi, use her here.
Should I invest in Yanagi's Mindscapes for this team?
Yanagi is strong at M0 in this role - her value is fast anomaly generation, not raw damage. Prioritize Miyabi Mindscapes first (M1/M2 open more team flexibility). Yanagi signature W-Engine also matters less here than in a Yanagi main-DPS setup.
Investment priority
Signature W-Engines first (Miyabi's especially), then Mindscapes, then well-built supports. Miyabi's early Mindscapes reduce Disorder reliance and open her to other team compositions as well.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Overstaying on Miyabi without swapping for Disorder. Waiting for stacks to build naturally is slower than quick-swapping to Yanagi for an instant refill. The whole team is built around the swap rhythm.
Using Miyabi's charged attack immediately after her own Frostburn. Wait for Yanagi to Disorder first. Firing Frost Moon without the Disorder buff wastes the RES ignore and stack refill.
Ignoring perfect assists and dodge counters. These speed up energy recovery and fit naturally into the quick-swap gaps. Skipping them noticeably slows Ultimate availability.
Building Yanagi as main DPS in this team. Her role here is fast anomaly detonation to feed Miyabi. Over-building her sustained damage at the cost of EX frequency hurts the team more than it helps.
