Why Dialyn in Rupture Teams
Rupture DPS agents need fast stuns and strong field-time buffs. Dialyn provides top-tier daze application, a 30% Stun DMG multiplier, 2-second stun extension, and a 40% DMG bonus for Attacker/Rupture agents. Her unique mechanic converts Chain attacks into free Ultimates for the next DPS - a significant damage multiplier on every rotation.
Team Setup and Slot Priority
Slot 1 (DPS)
Rupture main DPS (Yixuan, Banyue, Manato, Hugo, etc.). Position the Rupture DPS before Dialyn in team order - her Additional Ability activates based on the Rupture agent's Sheer Force and only works when they precede her in slots.
Slot 2 (Stun)
Dialyn - core of the team. Stun enabler, buff provider, and Ultimate converter.
Slot 3 (Support)
Lucia (BiS for Rupture - Sheer Force buffs and Rupture-specific support). Alternatives: Pan (F2P-friendly), Astra (universal buffs, strong if Lucia unavailable), or Zhao in specific compositions.
Bangboo
Birkblick or other Rupture-oriented options. Booressure as an alternative for daze/impact boost.
Team order matters. Rupture DPS must be in a lower slot number than Dialyn. If they're in the wrong order, her Additional Ability extra damage does not activate.
Rotation Steps
Dialyn's Positive Reviews Gauge
Dialyn has a gauge that fills via EX Special hits (each Heavy hit adds ~7.5 points). At 90+ points the gauge changes color - this is when her Chain Attack or Hold Basic EX Special ("Get Lost!") can convert the next Chain into an Ultimate for the DPS. Build this gauge through EX Specials before going for the conversion.

Dialyn - spam EX Specials to build gauge and daze
Switch to Dialyn and use her Rock/Scissors/Paper EX Specials to stack daze on the enemy and fill her Positive Reviews gauge. Each heavy hit contributes to both. Aim to get the gauge above 90 before the first stun.

Stun the enemy
Dialyn has high daze application from her EX Specials. Once the enemy staggers, the stun window opens. Her 2-second stun extension passive also extends the window compared to other stunners.

Convert Chain to Ultimate - trigger the DPS burst
With gauge at 90+, use Quick Assist, Chain Attack, or Hold Basic EX Special ("Get Lost!") to trigger the conversion. The next DPS who enters gets an Ultimate instead of a Chain - much higher damage. Swap to your Rupture DPS immediately for the nuke window.

DPS field time - capitalize on stun + Ult window
Play the Rupture DPS during the full stun window. Use the converted Ultimate and follow up with skills. Lucia's support buffs are active. Repeat the gauge build cycle when returning to Dialyn.
Parry when available during Dialyn's phase - successful parries add gauge and daze simultaneously. Practice the timing in Training Mode to feel the gauge threshold before Deadly Assault.
Dialyn Build Priorities
Crit Rate
Target ~100% crit rate. Her EX Specials need reliable crits for maximum damage and buff consistency.
Drive Discs
4pc King of the Summit (stun focus) + 2pc Woodpecker Electro or Swing Jazz. Substats: Energy Regen, Crit Rate/DMG, Impact, ATK.
W-Engine
Signature W-Engine is best (Energy Regen off-field + 30% team Crit DMG). Strong stunner alternatives work at M0 if sig is unavailable.
Skill Priority
EX Specials first, then Core Passive. These drive gauge generation and team buff application.
Mindscapes
M0W1 is strong for F2P/Dolphin. M2W1 is a good stopping point for meaningful buffs. M2 adds extra EX hits per cycle.
Key Decision Points
Should I pull Dialyn?
Yes if you have or plan to invest in any Rupture or Attacker DPS. She's a universal upgrade over older stunners and future-proofs your Rupture roster. Skip only if you have no Rupture investment and no plans for one.
Support choice: Lucia vs. alternatives
Lucia is BiS for pure Rupture - her Sheer Force buffs are the best-in-slot choice. Pan is F2P-friendly and functional. Astra provides universal buffs and is a reliable substitute if Lucia isn't available.
No premium supports - is the team still playable?
Yes. Budget teams with Lycaon, Pulchra M6, Qingyi, or Koleda still clear content, especially for Yidhari or lower-difficulty content. Lower scores but fully functional.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
Wrong team slot order. Rupture DPS must be in a lower slot number than Dialyn. Flipping them disables her Additional Ability extra damage entirely.
Over-using Hold EX Special ("Get Lost!"). It consumes too many gauge points and disrupts the next stun cycle. Use it only when gauge is exactly at threshold, or prefer Chain/Quick Assist for the conversion.
Not building gauge before stun. Trying to use the conversion without reaching 90+ gauge means the conversion doesn't trigger. Spam EX Specials early in the rotation to prime the gauge before the first stun window.
Treating her as a pure stunner with no sub-DPS value. Dialyn does meaningful personal damage through EX Specials. Building her for personal damage alongside stun stats is not wasted investment.
