Core Role: NS Support Healer Who Amplifies Negative Status Teams

Suisui is a Negative Status (NS) support/healer who enables top damage on Yangyang:Xuanling (Havoc Bane) or Hiyuki (Glacio Chafe) teams. Her job is to hit the Energy Regen threshold for full Outro ATK and DMG buffs, provide sustain, apply Glacio Chafe stacks, and deliver team-wide Amp and ATK while keeping rotations smooth and survivable in high-end content.

Yangyang:Xuanling + Chisa + Suisui

Havoc Bane Focus

Strongest overall team. Xuanling consumes stacks for big damage, Chisa handles stack limits and DEF shred, Suisui provides healing, 25% All DMG Amp from Outro, ATK buffs scaled to her ER, and overall sustain.

Glacio Chafe Core

Hiyuki + Lucilla + Suisui

Glacio Chafe Focus

Suisui applies Glacio Chafe stacks herself, raises the stack cap by +3, heals, and Outros big ATK and DMG Amp into Hiyuki. Lucilla accelerates stacking and provides RES shred. Smoother rotations and better sustain than older Chisa variants.

Build Steps

1 Hit the Energy Regen Threshold (Non-Negotiable)

Aim for approximately 260% Energy Regen so her Outro delivers max ATK% (up to ~50%) plus All DMG Amp and related effects. Below this threshold, buffs fall off hard. This is the single most important build target.

Once ER is locked, stack HP for better healing. Her heals scale with HP, so ER and HP are the two priorities, in that order.

2 Weapon Priority

Firstlight's Herald (signature, best): High ER substat plus team ATK passive. Makes the ER threshold easiest to hit and adds team-wide damage.
Stellar Symphony: Strong alternative with ER substat. Good premium option if signature is unavailable.
Variation (F2P / 4-star): Excellent free option with ER. Performs very well at S0 when paired with SoFT echo set.

Over-investing in the signature is not mandatory. Variation plus Song of Feathered Trace still performs very well at S0.

3 Echo Sets and Stat Targets

Use the 5-piece Song of Feathered Trace (SoFT) set. The 2pc ER helps the threshold, and the 5pc converts her ER into strong team ATK (up to 25%) on Glacio Chafe application with good uptime. Rejuvenating Glow is the common temporary alternative if you lack SoFT pieces.

4 Rotation - Quick-Swap Setup Loop

Suisui is not a long field-time character. Community playstyle is quick-swap setup: bring her in, apply heals and build toward Liberation, apply Glacio Chafe stacks, drop Resonance Liberation (Ceaseless Landscape field for stack-cap and buffs), then Outro to the main DPS for the big Amp and ATK window.

Typical loop example: Lucilla stacks, then Suisui Liberation plus Outro, then Hiyuki burst. For the Xuanling side, Chisa weaves in between. Aim for consistent field uptime on the buff window and keep fragile DPS like Xuanling topped up.

5 Skill Priority

Forte / Liberation: Highest priority. Her buff output and healing depend on Liberation uptime.
Resonance Skill: Second priority. Used for stack application and energy generation.
Basic Attacks: Lowest priority. She is not a basic-attack carry; do not invest heavily here.

6 Decision Point: Which Team to Build Around

Pull and build around the NS DPS you already have or want most:

If you have Yangyang:Xuanling: Prioritize the Chisa trio (Xuanling + Chisa + Suisui). This is called out repeatedly as one of the strongest teams currently.
If you have Hiyuki + Lucilla: Go mono-Glacio. Suisui raises the Glacio Chafe stack cap by +3 and provides smoother rotations and better sustain.
Other viable NS teams: Aemeath + Denia + Suisui (Fusion Burst), Aero Erosion with Cartethyia/Ciaccona, Spectro teams. Her general Amp and healing still helps, though full ATK scaling is strongest on the two premium cores above.

She is not a pure powercreep of Chisa everywhere. Some teams still prefer Chisa's kit, but she is BiS or near-BiS for the two premium NS cores and adds excellent sustain.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Ignoring the 260% ER threshold - the biggest source of "why are her buffs weak?" complaints. Without it, her Outro buffs fall off dramatically.
Building her like a DPS - investing in Crit and ATK instead of ER and HP wastes her entire support kit.
Forcing her into non-NS teams - she still heals and Amps, but loses most of her specialized upside outside Negative Status team comps.
Skipping Chisa in the Xuanling team - Suisui does not raise the Havoc Bane stack cap the same way she does for other NS effects, so Chisa stays important for stack management.
Over-investing in signature when resources are tight - Variation plus SoFT still performs very well at S0. Prioritize echo farming first.
Poor buff-window management - swapping too early or too late means the main DPS misses the Outro Amp window entirely.
