The "No Date of Return" achievement (also known as "Deliver word to those who wait") is a hidden trophy in Wuthering Waves 3.5, located in the Mengzhou / Land of Xuanfang area. It requires you to complete a multi-day side quest chain with the NPC Zenliu. The chain is easy to miss because the first step is manual, the rest are RNG daily quests, and the final trigger only happens after several completions when Zenliu stops appearing due to overwork.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. 1

   Start the Chain Manually

   Go to Xuanfang Hold then navigate to the Xuanfang Ministry of War. Look near the stairs for a lady who has fallen down with a box or scattered papers. Approach and talk to her. The quest appears automatically when you get close. Complete this initial delivery or help interaction.

   This is the only non-RNG part. Players report it will not start on its own. You must physically go to the location and trigger it.

   Complete Follow-up Daily Quests (RNG)

   After the starter quest, Zenliu-related dailies begin appearing in your daily quest list. You need roughly:

   - 3x item delivery quests
   - 2-3x "defeat a group of Tacet Discords" quests

   Accept and finish them whenever they show up. They are tied to Zenliu and continue the story of her deliveries and work. Do not skip or ignore them; each one advances the chain.

   Prioritize any Zenliu-named or delivery/TD-group dailies over other optional quests while hunting this trophy.

   Trigger the Achievement

   After completing the required number of dailies, try to meet Zenliu again at her usual spots. She will not appear because she is overworked. The achievement "No Date of Return" unlocks at that point.

Key Decision Points

• If you have never seen the fallen lady near the Ministry of War stairs, go there first and force-start the chain. Waiting for a daily will never begin it.

• If dailies are not appearing after the starter, keep logging in and checking the daily board and quest log daily. They are RNG-gated like many other hidden multi-day chains.

• Prioritize Zenliu dailies over other optionals while working on this trophy to speed up the chain.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Assuming the whole thing is pure RNG and never visiting the Ministry of War stairs. The chain never starts without the manual trigger.

• Completing only 1 or 2 dailies and giving up. You need the full set (approximately 3 deliveries + 2-3 combat quests).

• Looking for Zenliu too early after the last daily. She only "fails to show" once the quota is met.

• Ignoring the quest after the initial talk. The follow-up dailies are required, not optional.
