Unlock the hidden Windfall achievement in Wuthering Waves 3.5 by completing the Smeltguard Dances, Fortune Surges coin-catching minigame. Here is the exact location, NPC, and how to catch all 15 pouches.
Open your map and navigate to Southern Yuan Hills, then find the Hundun Span Corridor (central bridge-like structure area on the map). It shows as a clear landmark once the region is unlocked via the 3.5 story and exploration.
Arrive at the plaza and courtyard area (autumn-leaf scenery, tiled ground with circular patterns). Look for the green lion or statue-like companion NPC (Mo, a Smeltguard-related figure). Interact with the Talk prompt on it.
This starts the quest "Smeltguard Dances, Fortune Surges". Accept and begin the minigame.
Pouches drop and fall onto the circular platform. Move to collect them (they light up and are marked). Progress shows as "Caught: X/15". There is a timer of roughly 30 seconds. Prioritize moving quickly between spawn points on the patterned floor. Complete all 15 before time runs out.
- Focus only on the coin pouches, ignore other visual effects on the platform.
- Stay on the central platform area where pouches land, do not wander to the edges.
- Watch the "Caught: X/15" counter at the top of the screen to track progress.
- If you fail the timer, just re-talk to the NPC to retry. The activity is short and repeatable.
After catching 15 pouches, the quest completes. Talk to Mo again if prompted. The New Trophy: Windfall pops immediately, along with a Standard Supply Chest nearby. Claim any related Astrite and rewards from the Trophies menu.
