Halloween The Game Campaign Achievements Guide
Unlock Thorough, Collector, and The End achievements in Halloween The Game. Exact steps for Prologue 5 and 6, Chapter 2 surprise kills, Chapter 4 movie-accurate run, and all recording collectible locations. Challenges can be done on replay after you beat a chapter.
Core goal: unlock the campaign achievements Thorough (all secondary challenges in a story chapter), Collector (every story-mode recording), and The End (finish all six chapters) plus the cosmetics they drop. The chapters themselves are short. The pain is the optional challenges, especially Prologue 5 and 6, Chapter 2 Challenge 6, and Chapter 4 Challenge 6, which frequently fail to register even when the actions look correct. Challenges can be done on replay after you beat a chapter. Replay from chapter select, you do not have to start the whole campaign over.
1PrologueSmith's Grove
-
5
Challenge 5: Do not kill anyone.
Stay in stealth, terrify orderlies so they flee, and never land a kill. Players report this is the most finicky early challenge. Many just followed a community video rather than trial and error.
-
6
Challenge 6: Kill every orderly, no one flees in terror.
Grab the first orderly immediately and drag him toward the right-side gate. Let the orderly who sprints from the right reach the start area, he will stay. Sprint back up the stairs so the two extra guards that spawn behind you do not see you, let them run deeper into the map. Kill the remaining orderly waiting at the start. In the dirt drainage channel, take the guard below last, the one standing above him will spot you if you go for the lower target first. The challenge usually pops after the final guard. Do not let anyone run off-screen in terror.
2Chapter 2Main Street Surprise Kills
-
6
Challenge 6: Complete without alerting anyone, plus surprise kills on Eric, Tanya, and Rachel.
All three kills must show the word "Surprise" in the XP list on the left side of the screen. Being seen by anyone else, like Rachel's friends at the graveyard, voids it. Some players still do not get credit even when the prompt appears, treat it as bugged until a patch.
-
E
Eric: wait outside the shop until he picks up the broom and starts sweeping the front corner.
Walk up behind him and grab or execute.
-
T
Tanya: cut the power, wait for her to go outside to restore it.
Grab or execute, hide the body.
-
R
Rachel: wait until she is about to lean on the tombstone. She freezes for a second as she turns to start the animation.
Grab in that window. Do not grab while she is already leaning or while she is smoking by the car.
3Chapter 4Babysitters Movie-Accurate Run
-
1
Kill the dog.
-
2
When Annie enters the laundry room, lock her in. Wait through the phone conversation, then wait in the car and strangle her when she gets in.
Hide the body and shut the door before the cutscene.
-
3
Shape Jump into the closet that looks into the living room and fully stalk both Bob and Lynda on the couch.
This also covers Challenge 5.
-
4
After they go upstairs, shut the door. Get Bob back to Tier 3 stalk, then pin him to the kitchen wall.
Walk up behind him after the cutscene rather than bursting from the closet, the closet pop often alerts Lynda. Take his glasses.
-
5
Shape Jump upstairs, grab the sheet, open Lynda's door, get her to Tier 3, walk up and strangle her with the phone cord.
-
6
Hide in the sheet room until Laurie comes upstairs. Stalk her to Tier 3, grab her as she sees Annie's corpse.
-
7
Chase her to Doyle's house. When she hides in the first closet, pull her out and stab once. When she hides in the upstairs closet, pull her out and grab her.
4Collector Achievement: All Recordings
-
1
Recordings are scattered through the six chapters.
Community members are posting full location videos rather than text lists because the maps are small but easy to miss items in.
-
2
Replay any chapter and grab whatever you missed. They persist.
You do not need to collect them all in one run or in order.

Common Mistakes That Waste Runs
- Grabbing Rachel while she is already leaning or smoking. Wait for the turn-freeze before the lean animation.
- Bursting out of the living-room closet to pin Bob. Alerts Lynda. Walk up behind him after the cutscene instead.
- Letting any extra guard or friend see you even for a second on no-alert or surprise challenges. One sighting voids the run.
- Assuming the challenge will auto-complete because the on-screen prompt appeared. Many players have the prompt and still get no credit.
- Killing anyone in Prologue Challenge 5. Terrify to flee, do not kill.
- Mixing movie-accurate or surprise-kill challenges with first-play exploration. Do them on a dedicated replay after you already know the patrols.
