Step-by-Step: Craft Unique Tibault's Will

1. Stock white (Common) pants, preferably Ancestral

   Gamble pants at the Purveyor of Curiosities with Murmuring Obols, or pick up magic/rare pants from content you already run and strip them down. Players report gambling "a page or three" of pants is enough for several attempts. Ancestral white bases give a better shot at an Ancestral Tibault's Will.

2. Strip higher-rarity pants down to white

   Use the Horadric Cube's Remove Affix recipe on blue/yellow/Ancestral pants until they become white/Common. Only white pants work for the Upgrade to Unique recipe.

3. Gather the materials

   Recipe cost per attempt: 1 Enhanced Primordial Dust + 10 Primordial Dust (or Raw Primordial Dust).

   • Season Journey caches (easiest early supply)
   • Escalation Nightmare Dungeons with the Horadric Materials affix
   • General seasonal content and higher Torment activities

   Tip

   Don't ignore Enhanced Primordial Dust. Regular dust alone won't work for the recipe. Prioritize activities that drop the enhanced variant.

4. Cube it: Upgrade to Unique

   Put the white pants into the Horadric Cube, select the Upgrade to Unique / Item Transmutation recipe, and confirm. You get a random Unique pants item. Repeat until Tibault's Will appears. It is not guaranteed. Players commonly report 7 to 40+ tries depending on luck. Other results include Temerity, Tassets of the Dawning Sky, Penitent Greaves, and others.

5. Keep extras

   Hold a second pair if you can. When you later upgrade to Mythic, the result is random, so a spare Unique Tibault's Will protects you if the first upgrade fails.

   Tip

   Don't salvage or sell every white/Ancestral pants base before you have the Unique. You'll need them for repeat attempts.

Key Decision Points

• Ancestral white vs normal white

  Ancestral is preferred for endgame power. Normal still works and is easier to obtain. Use Ancestral bases if you're targeting endgame Pit farming.

• Keep gambling vs keep stripping

  Obol gambling is fast for volume. Stripping magic/rare drops from content you already run saves Obols. Mix both based on what you have available.

• When to stop

  Once you have a usable roll (even mediocre), many players move on and later re-roll or upgrade rather than burn all dust chasing perfect stats immediately.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Trying to feed non-white pants straight into Upgrade to Unique (it won't work)
• Ignoring Enhanced Primordial Dust and only farming regular dust
• Pure boss farming (Duriel, Andariel, etc.) expecting targeted drops. The general pool odds are terrible this season.
• Salvaging or selling every white/Ancestral pants base before you have the Unique
• Using up your only good pair on a Mythic upgrade without a backup
