Exotic Farming Guide - Best Builds for Legend Lost Sectors
The fastest, most reliable way to farm exotic armor - Legend Lost Sector rotation, best solo builds for each class, Rahool focusing strategy, and the mistakes that waste your time.
Hit 2000+ before grinding Legend sectors. Lower power makes them brutally unforgiving with no real path to consistent clears.
Level him up by decoding engrams. Unlock focusing options to target specific armor slots instead of full RNG drops.
Farm via season pass, Xur's weekly quest (21 ritual activities), or rank resets. Hold up to 5. Use for focused targeting at Rahool.
Do 9 ritual activities (3 each: Vanguard, Crucible, Gambit). Decode with Ghost focusing mods for better stat rolls.
Check daily rotation for reward slot. Bunker E15 and K1 Revelation are the easiest. Harder sectors (Perdition, Concealed Void) give the same rewards - only run them if easier ones aren't available.
Use Rahool's daily free focusing first for a targeted slot. Only spend Exotic Ciphers on specific pieces you're missing and can't get from the rotation.
Warlock Void for maximum sustainability. Hunter Arc for fastest clears once comfortable. Titan with Loreley Splendor is a solid middle ground.
Drop rates are not guaranteed. 5-10 runs per session is the efficient range before diminishing returns on your time. Supplement with Vex Strike Force and Xur for the remaining gaps.
- Jumping in underleveled - Legend sectors require 2000+ power. Grinding at lower levels means constant wipes and no farming efficiency.
- No champion coverage - Unstoppable, Barrier, and Overload champions will instantly loop-kill you without the right intrinsic or mod.
- Ignoring the daily rotation - The reward slot changes daily. Farming on a day that doesn't match your target slot wastes all your runs.
- Decoding before focusing - Always check Rahool's daily focus options first. Decoding randomly loses the targeting advantage that focusing gives you.
- Grinding one hard sector - Easier sectors drop the same rewards as harder ones. Pick the path of least resistance for more runs per hour.
