Step 1: Atlas Setup (Do This Before Farming)

This is the foundation everyone stresses before spamming maps. Skip it and you'll struggle with sustain and map power.

  Rush the Fortress Questline

  Normal mapping outside the walls gives minimal Atlas XP. Push the Fortress questline inside the walls first. This is where meaningful Atlas progression lives.

  Prioritize Core Atlas Nodes

  Center Atlas tree for +1 tablet mod, all Tablet/Waystone nodes, and Irradiated tablet drops. Early nodes: Shrines (huge for clear/survivability), map sustain (Pathkeepers), mechanic-specific (Abyss/Breach/Ritual/Expedition).

  Unlock Doriyani (Corrupted Tower)

  Doriyani gives +1 revive - run 6-mod maps safely with 3 tablets. Use Doriyani to buy T14s and combine to T15 if low on maps. Double tries on juiced maps prevents wasted currency.

  Alch/Regal All Maps and Tablets

  Do not run white maps. Alch or regal everything. Use irradiated tablets (for +level/rarity) and mechanic-specific tablets for density. 3+ irradiated/rare tablets per map is meta.

  Hit 50-100 Atlas Points + T15s Before Branching

  Then do Arbiter of Divinity (quest + citadels via red beams outside walls) for big +40 point chunks. Many players reach level 90+ this way in SSF before specializing.

Ritual City Farm - How to Run It

  Speed is key. Small layouts mean more maps per hour, which compounds Ritual value. Stack pack size, magic, and rare mods on map.

  Use Ritual Tablets with Abundance/Vessels/Selectiveness

  These mods allow rerolling the Ritual reward pool. Defer big items to build defer currency, then prioritize: Divines, Omens, Enlighten, Empower. Omens (Omen of Amelioration etc.) can reach 7+ div each.

  Layer Deli or Beyond for Extra Loot

  Beyond adds pack density. Deli adds more Ritual items. Both combo cleanly without breaking the City layout speed.

Expedition (Logbooks) - How to Run It

  Spec Into New Expedition Atlas Passives

  Biome density and Verisium passives are the reason Expedition jumped to S-tier in 0.5.4. Without these, it underperforms. Prioritize before running Logbooks.

  Run Grand Expeditions for Currency Chests

  Grand Expeditions (special shapes) guarantee currency chests and golden highlights. Also run bosses for big uniques. Logbooks are a reliable source via poles - run them consistently.

  Combine with Tablets and Boss Rush

  Layer mechanic tablets for even higher density. Add boss rush to the rotation for fragments/sacks on top of Expedition currency. Strong even without full Atlas investment.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  Skipping early Atlas tablet and Waystone nodes. This leaves you with weak maps and too many deaths on juiced content. Do the Atlas setup in Step 1 before farming seriously.

  Running unjuiced maps or skipping tablets. A 6-mod T15 without tablets returns a fraction of the div/hour. The tablet investment is mandatory, not optional.

  Over-investing in pure gambles before stable income. High-entry bosses and Simulacrum should come after you have a consistent floor income, not as your first strat.

  Neglecting map sustain. Alch/regal everything. Use specific Atlas nodes for map drops. Running out of T15s mid-session kills your momentum.

  Forgetting to combine mechanics. Tablets + Ritual/Expedition stacking is the community-consensus meta. Single-mechanic maps leave substantial currency on the table.

  Running Delirium without strong clear/survivability. Delirium can feel unrewarding and even buggy in 0.5.4. Only add it once your build can reliably clear dense packs fast.
