Sturdy Bone - Genshin Impact

A 4-star sword from the Heroes of Natlan series that rewards aggressive, sprint-weaving play. High base ATK for its rarity plus a passive that turns every dash into a Normal Attack buff.

How to get it: Sturdy Bone is gacha-only through the Epitome Invocation weapon banner - it's not in the standard pool. It's currently on rate-up in the Version 7.1 weapon banner (October 13 - November 4, 2026), so now is the window to pull it or refine it.

How it plays: weave a sprint (or Alternate Sprint) before your Normal Attack string. The buff counts hits, so fast multi-hit NA chains burn the 18 triggers quickly - it's strongest on characters whose damage lives in their normal combo, not burst nukes.

Best characters

Anyone who sprint-cancels into Normal Attacks can use it; these get the most out of it.

Ayaka

The natural fit. Her Alternate Sprint is already part of every combo, so the passive triggers without changing her rotation at all.

Clorinde

Lives in her Normal Attack string - a sprint weave slots cleanly between her skill windows.

Keqing

NA-focused electro DPS that already dash-cancels; the ATK% substat and post-sprint buff both land on her main damage source.

Alhaitham

Viable on NA-heavy dendro builds that can afford a sprint weave before his projection chains.

Skirk / Jean

Honorable mentions - Skirk gets the ATK boost if you dash in rotations; Jean's damage and healing both scale off ATK.

Skip it if: your sword user is burst- or skill-damage focused, or your rotation never sprints. The passive does nothing for characters who stand still - at that point it's just an ATK% stat stick and there are cheaper ones.
