WARDOGS Three-Team Building Destruction Guide
In 100-player three-team Control Zone, buildings and FOBs are the cover and logistics that decide who has bodies on the hill. Destruction only matters when it changes who can stand there safely.
Core problem: Players are not looking for cool explosions. They want to strip an enemy hold (apartments, FOB, chokepoint) without wasting cash, without exposing their own revive route, and without feeding the third team. The match scores by who has the most players in the 2x2 km zone. Destruction only matters when it changes who can stand there safely.
1Decide the Job Before You Buy Explosives
- 1Enemy FOB, apartment nest, or SAM lane between HQ and zone: destroy or breach. Interdicting that lane is how you collapse a hold.
- 2Your own reset cover, truck exit, or revive pocket: do not flatten it. Blowing walls opens a sightline for both other factions.
2Cut the FOB's Oxygen First, Then Blow the Box
- 1Find the logi route (Kodiak, Huey, supply crates into the FOB).
- 2Kill or scare the truck or heli so the base stops getting build, ammo, and fuel.
- 3Identify the spawn vehicle and FOB module.
The module can be hacked. If they interact with it, they take the base.
- 4Then breach. Found C4 on the door is a cheap entry.
Do not stand in the blast with six teammates.
3Pick the Demolition Tool That Matches the Target
4Use the Third Team
5If You Are the Builder
- 1Buy FOB, hammers, four supply types, and a truck that can carry crates.
Place the module where a Kodiak can actually reach. Dump supplies, then one hit on each yellow X with the right hammer. Extra swings do nothing.
- 2Small hammer: bags, wire, simple cover. Medium: HESCO, gates, real perimeter. Large: AA, mortar, heavy systems.
- 3Protect the module (hackable) and the unload pad.
A SAM FOB between enemy HQ and the zone is what squads brag about. You are not holding the hill, you are starving their helis and trucks.
6After You Destroy Something, Call the New Sightline
Quick Decisions
| Situation | Do This | Don't Do This |
|---|---|---|
| Enemy holding apartments in zone | C4 or rockets on occupied floors, cut their FOB resupply | Spray the whole block and leave no cover for your own tick |
| Enemy FOB off-zone on logi road | Interdict trucks, SAM the helis, then breach module | Suicide-rush the walls while their crate loop is still live |
| Your team is ahead on points | Fortify approaches and AA. Destruction is optional. | Farm buildings for fun and hand the other two a highway |
| Tank is farming the street | RPG, drone, C4 drop, or your own armor | Stand in the open and wait for someone else to buy AT |
| Mortars landing on your in-zone FOB | Relocate or shrink the FOB. Keep logi moving. | Rebuild the same courtyard for 20 minutes |
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Destroying cover you still need for revives and zone ticks.
- Spending a tank or heli life just to crater empty houses.
- Building a fortress after the zone has already moved.
- Leaving the FOB module exposed so it gets hacked.
- Stacking on the C4 door. Friendly fire and self-wipe is already a meme.
- Ignoring the third team. Two factions will always have a reason to delete the leader's building.
