The core trick: Kill payout is based on where the target is, not where you are. You keep Hot Zone rates and the distance multiplier without standing in the meat grinder. A cheap bolt-action and rangefinder can print more cash than sitting in the circle and dying. A normal kill is a few hundred dollars. Same shot into the Hot Zone at long range is what players mean by "the farm."

Distance Multiplier and Payout Shape

Distance to targetDistance multiplierReported Hot Zone headshot
Under 300 mx1~$3,500
300 mx1.5~$5,250
400 mx2~$7,000
500 mx2.5~$8,750
600 mx3~$10,500
800 mx3.5~$12,250
900 m+x4~$14,000
Numbers are beta figures players actually used. The shape holds: longer range into the Hot Zone equals more cash per shot.

1Buy the Cheapest Kit That Can Hit at Range

Do not kit like a frontliner. Early recon prints because the kit is cheap.

Do not over-kit. If your bank is under ~$15k, do not add silencer + AP + ghillie + pistol + plates on the same life. One death wipes the farm.

2Get to a Hill Outside the Control Zone

Hot Zone is full of bodies
Shoot the inner circle
Packed Hot Zone infantry is the highest $/shot. Use the circle when it is full.
Inner circle is empty
Shoot the fight cluster
If the real fight is a FOB raid, shoot that instead. Empty Hot Zone AFK ticks lose to where the infantry actually is.

3Range, Zero, Then Take the Head

Broke (under $2k)
Binoculars only
Mark APCs and infantry, let the team farm you assists. Marking an APC then watching it blow is huge (mark ~$1k, destroy assist several thousand).
Funded
Lase and shoot
One 600-900 m Hot Zone headshot can cover the whole rifle.

4Hunt the Right Targets

Relocate after 2-3 loud kills. Towers and the same ridge get rushed.
