WARDOGS Tower Codes and Hot Zone Pull Guide
Capture towers, collect the four-digit code, enter it at a held tower, and pull the Hot Zone onto defensible ground. Exact steps and mistakes to avoid.
Capture towers, collect every digit of the match's four-digit code, enter it at a tower your faction already holds, and pull the Hot Zone onto ground you can actually defend. The code is unique every match. You only see a digit on a tower your team currently owns. Lose the tower and you lose that digit.
→Step-by-Step: Capture, Collect, Pull
-
1
Confirm the tower is available.
Check the map icon or the console inside. Towers go on cooldown after use (~15 minutes). Do not send a squad if it is still cooling down.
-
2
Clear, then capture.
Approach with a squad. Clear stairs, windows, roof, and vehicle approaches first. One player at the console while everyone else holds. Go inside, then up one floor to the operations room. Walk to the main console and hold interact (usually F) until the bar fills. The tower flips to your faction color. The screen shows one digit. Call it immediately in chat with the tower number, e.g. "T2 7" or "code 4-?-7-?". Do not loot the roof while capturing.
-
3
Collect the rest of the digits.
There are typically 3–5 active towers inside the Control Zone. You only see digits on towers your faction holds. Enemy-held towers show their faction mark, not the number.
-
4
Enter the code and pull the Hot Zone.
Enter the full code on the keypad next to the console at a tower your faction owns, ideally the one you have already built a FOB around. Successful input starts the Hot Zone magnet: the inner double-score/double-cash circle begins moving toward that tower. Other factions see it coming. Community reports put the hold at roughly 3 minutes. Fortify before the last digit goes in.
-
5
Hold the tower after the pull.
A captured tower can be recaptured. If you lose it, you lose that digit. Keep players on stairs, roof, and approaches. Build walls/doors inside if you have time.
?Decision: All Towers vs Brute-Force the Last Digit
-
1
If you already have 3 of 4 digits,
going back to a tower you already hold and trying the missing digit (0–9) is often faster than assaulting the last hostile tower. Ten keypad attempts at a safe tower beats one risky assault.
-
2
If the last tower is weakly held,
take it. A lightly defended tower falls fast and gives you the clean digit. Read the situation: weak defense means assault, strong defense means brute-force at home.
✕Common Mistakes
- Treating the code as permanent or copying it from a previous match. The code is unique every single match.
- Sending one player to capture while the rest ignore the stairs. One defender on the stairs resets your capture.
- Capturing a tower and immediately leaving it empty. An empty tower gets flipped back and you lose the digit.
- Waiting to share digits until you have all of them. Call each digit in chat the instant you see it. Late calls cost time and cause duplicate assaults.
- Entering the code at a tower you have not fortified. The Hot Zone pulls to that tower. If it is bare, you lose it in seconds.
- Ignoring towers until late game. By the time you start, other factions already have digits and a head start on the pull.
✉Chat Format Examples
-
1
"T3 8"
Tower 3 shows digit 8. Short, unambiguous, instantly readable by squadmates.
-
2
"code 4-?-7-?"
Running tally of known digits with question marks for gaps. Keeps the whole squad on the same page.
-
3
"last digit, brute at our tower"
Signals you are brute-forcing the missing digit at a safe tower instead of assaulting the last hostile one.
