TFT Set NOVA Best Reroll Comps Guide
Reroll comps are econ-intensive and contest-sensitive. Pick an uncontested line, secure your econ augment, and know your rolling window - here's exactly how to execute the current top reroll strategies.

Top Reroll Comps (Current Meta)
Scout Before Committing
Reroll comps live and die on contest. Scout the lobby at stage 2-1 to see how many players are on the same units. If 2+ opponents are competing for your 1-cost carry, pivot to a different line or adjust to a less contested variant.
S
Samira / Ornn Reroll
3-cost reroll
Samira (carry)
Ornn (tank/carry)
Space Groove x5
Bastion / Sniper supports
Roll window: Level 7 for 3-stars, then push level toward 5 Space Groove. Items: LW + Shojin + DB on Samira. Best augments: Two Tanky, Space Groove-specific. Strong late cap with Jhin at 8/9.
S
Lulu Reroll
1-cost reroll
Lulu (carry)
Mountain / Serpent
Targon supports
Tank frontline
Roll window: Level 5-6 for 3-star Lulu. Prioritize Mountain or Serpent trait activation. Low contest potential - very strong when uncontested. Hero augment for Lulu dramatically increases ceiling.
S
Primordian NOVA (Akali / Briar)
2-cost reroll
Akali (carry)
Briar (tank)
Primordian x4
Ionia supports
Roll window: Level 6 for 2-cost 3-stars. NOVA trait activation is key. Strong with No Scout No Pivot augment. Common pivot target - scout carefully before committing.
A
Leona / Maokai Reroll
1/2-cost reroll
Leona (tank carry)
Maokai (frontline)
Targon / Void trait
Void supports
Roll window: Level 5-6. Very tanky frontline with healing. Good pivot option when Lulu is contested. Less damage ceiling than Samira builds but very stable top 4.
Stage-by-Stage Reroll Execution
-
1Stages 1-3: Build Econ and Scout Your LineHold pairs of your target 1/2/3-cost units early (Lulu, Leona, Samira, Akali). Aim for 50+ gold by 4-1. Flexible loss streak or win streak depending on your opener. Slam tank items on frontline immediately - do not wait. Scout the lobby at 2-1 and 3-1 to check contest levels before committing.
-
2Augment Choices: Commit to Econ FirstAlways take Treasure Hunt or any gold/econ augment when offered - this is your reroll fuel and rarely skippable. If you get a hero augment for your carry, that is your green light to commit fully. Combat augments like Two Tanky work for Samira/Ornn. Avoid augments that push you toward fast-leveling when you want to roll at level 6-7.
-
3Stage 4 Rolling Window: Hit Before You Bleed OutFor 1-cost rerolls (Lulu): roll at level 5-6 on a comfortable econ. For 2/3-cost rerolls (Samira, Akali): roll at level 6-7. Slow roll if gold is tight - maintain 50g interest while buying units. Do not roll all your gold in one turn; spread it across a few rounds unless you are bleeding HP critically.
-
4Stage 5: Stabilize and Begin CappingOnce your key 3-stars are online, stop rolling and rebuild gold. Push to level 8 for a 4-cost cap unit (Jhin for Space Groove, etc.). Transfer items to upgraded carries. Add final trait completions and optional 3-star units only if uncontested and rolling is cheap.
-
5Stage 6+: Late Game TransitionPure reroll falls off without a late-game cap. Push to level 9 if econ allows for 5-cost openers or second 4-cost. Reposition items and swap units based on the final board. Pivoting to a higher-cost carry at this stage wins games - players who stay on their 3-star 1-cost only often place 4th-5th.
Augment Priority Reference
| Augment | When to Take It |
|---|---|
| Treasure Hunt Must Take | Almost always. Core reroll fuel - early gold generation is the foundation of every reroll strategy. |
| Hero Augment (for carry) Must Take | Commit fully to that reroll line. Hero augments dramatically raise the ceiling and signal a high-priority lane. |
| No Scout No Pivot Good | Take when committing to Primordian or any 2-cost reroll. Works best in low-contest lobbies. |
| Two Tanky Good | Excellent for Samira/Ornn - keeps both carries alive longer for more damage windows. |
| Early Learnings / Fast Forward | Take only if pivoting away from reroll toward fast level 9. Skip if committed to rolling early. |
Common Mistakes to Avoid
-
Over-rolling without econ. Going broke at level 6 before hitting 3-stars means you cannot afford to level or reroll further. Always maintain 50g for interest when slow rolling - never dump everything in one roll.
-
Forcing a contested line without econ augments or a strong opener. Competing with 2+ other players for the same 1-cost destroys your hit rate. Either get out early or accept a lower placement rather than both players bricking.
-
Ignoring mid-game stabilization. Bleeding HP from stage 3 to stage 5 without a playable board means you die before your 3-stars come online. Slam items on whatever frontline you have - tempo matters.
-
Poor itemization on tanks. Reroll carries need frontline to survive long enough to deal damage. If your tanks are running no items while your carry has 3, you are losing rounds you should win.
-
Not adapting after nerfs. TFT patches hit reroll carries hard when a comp is overplayed. Check patch notes - if Lulu, Briar, or Teemo got nerfed this patch, re-evaluate whether the comp still has enough power for a top 4.
