Fields of Mistria 1.0 full release

Fields of Mistria launched its 1.0 full release around August 5, 2026. The update completes the game's core systems including full romance, marriage, town repair finale, new mounts, vendors, and quality-of-life improvements. Existing saves carry over - you do not need to start a new farm to access 1.0 content.

What 1.0 adds

Heart cap raised to 10. New 10-heart events for all romanceable NPCs, including proposal events and special items.
Weddings and marriage. Craft an engagement ring, propose, customize the ceremony, and marry your chosen partner. See our romance guide for full details.
Children. After marriage, optionally have a child via the Mystical Feather cutscene. Fully optional - both parent and child-free paths supported.
Town Repair questline completion. Final stages including the Bell Tower. Town Renown cap raised to 100. Completing unlocks new areas, shops, and story progression.
Big Chicken mount. New rideable mount for stylish travel around Mistria.
New Saturday Market vendors. Stillwell and Zorel join the market with new goods and items.
Additional quests, museum sets, and achievements. New content is retroactive - existing saves can complete new achievements without restarting.
Quality-of-life improvements. Various UI, controls, and gameplay flow enhancements based on early access feedback.

How to jump into 1.0

1Update your game on Steam or your platform of choice. The 1.0 update is free for all existing owners.
2Load your existing save or start a new farm. Both paths access all 1.0 content. Existing saves carry over with all progress intact.
3Check your mail for new recipes and quest prompts. The engagement ring recipe arrives the morning after reaching 10 hearts with a dating partner.
4Visit the Saturday Market to find the new vendors Stillwell and Zorel. Check their inventories for new items.
5Continue the Town Repair questline by meeting Adeline and donating resources. The final stages require significant materials - prepare in advance.
6Check the museum for new donation sets. Retroactive donations count toward new achievements.

What to prioritize in 1.0

Continue existing farm?

Recommended for most players. Your progress carries over and you can immediately access new content. Check mail for new recipes and quests.

Start fresh?

Good if you want to experience the full 1.0 progression from scratch or took a long break. You will not lose anything since old saves remain available.

Romance first or town repair?

Both are endgame content. Romance requires heart grinding and mines materials for the ring. Town repair needs resource gathering. Do both in parallel.

Achievements retroactive?

Yes. New achievements in 1.0 are retroactive. Existing saves can complete them without restarting. Check the museum and achievement list for new entries.

Mistakes to avoid in 1.0

XStarting a new save unnecessarily. Existing saves carry over fully. You can access all 1.0 content on your current farm.
XIgnoring mail after updating. New recipes and quest prompts arrive via mail. Check daily after the 1.0 update to avoid missing content.
XUnder-preparing for late Town Repair stages. Final repairs require significant materials. Gather wood, stone, ingots, and tesserae in advance.
XNot checking new market vendors. Stillwell and Zorel sell new items at the Saturday Market. Visit them weekly to avoid missing useful purchases.
