Pokemon Survivor
A free fan-made roguelite that crosses Pokemon with Vampire Survivors: pick a starter, let it auto-attack, and outlast 15 minutes of wild Pokemon hordes — then push into endless mode until Arceus comes hunting. Runs right in your browser, no download, no sign-up.
How a run works: your Pokemon attacks on its own — you just steer. Collect experience, learn moves, equip held items and evolve mid-run. Survive 15 minutes and Mewtwo shows up as the final boss; beat it and endless mode begins, with Arceus hunting you until you fall. Beat legendaries as bosses to catch them and play as them in Legend Mode.
Which "Pokemon Survivor" is this?
Two fan games share nearly the same name — both free, both Vampire-Survivors-style.
| Game | How you play it | What it offers |
|---|---|---|
| Pokémon Survivors | Right here in the browser (the game above), by Pedro Barretto — open source | 15-min runs, evolutions mid-run, Mewtwo + Arceus bosses, Legend Mode, online co-op rooms for up to 4 players, no ads |
| Pokémon Survivor Burst | A downloadable fan game by Clessio for Windows, macOS and Android — see our Survivor Burst guide | 88+ playable Pokemon, three modes: Classic (15-min survival), Rush (boss rush) and Tower (climb to floor 100) |
Beginner tips
Move in wide circles
Your attacks are automatic — your only job is positioning. Kite the horde in big arcs instead of backpedaling into corners.
Pick synergies, not favorites
Move and item choices stack. A coherent build beats grabbing the highest-damage option every level — commit to a plan early.
Evolve mid-run
Evolution is the biggest power spike. Grab evolution triggers as soon as they appear rather than banking them for later.
Grab a friend for co-op
Create a room and up to four players can run together — horde pressure splits, and revives keep weak builds alive longer.
Common questions
Is Pokemon Survivor free?
Yes — completely free, no ads, no purchases. It's an unofficial, non-commercial fan project and not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company or Game Freak.

No — the browser version runs entirely in the tab, on PC or phone. The downloadable alternative is Pokémon Survivor Burst, a separate fan game for Windows, macOS and Android.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, it runs in a phone browser with touch controls — though a bigger screen makes dodging late-game hordes much easier.
Is there multiplayer?
Yes — you can create a room and play online co-op with up to three friends in the same run.
Is this an official Pokémon game?
No. It's a fan-made game by Pedro Barretto — unofficial and non-commercial, like most Pokémon fan projects.
