Step-by-Step Build Order
17.6" Heavy Barrel + Monolithic Suppressor is the foundation. This is what gives you the range and velocity edge the meta is built on. Both slots, no compromise.
Locks down the AK-27's horizontal recoil. The gun has a distinct up-left-then-right-hook pattern - the grip kills the horizontal component.
Completes the recoil control stack. With barrel + grip + stock all active you should see near-zero horizontal bounce in the firing range.
FANG HoverPoint for general mid-range. Greaves AccuSpot 3x if you prefer longer engagements. Add after the control slots are locked in.
80+ rounds minimum. This is Warzone - you will run through ammo in extended fights. No drum = death in third-party situations.
Priority order: vertical recoil down, then ADS speed, then sprint-to-fire. Aim for the pattern to walk straight up with minimal side pull.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
These two slots are the entire reason the AK-27 is meta. Drop either and you lose the range and velocity edge - it becomes a mid-tier AR.
In Warzone you routinely fight 2-3 players back to back. A 30-round mag gets you killed mid-fight. 80+ rounds is the minimum.
The AK-27 meta is a mid-to-long laser build. Hipfire setups waste its core strength. Use your SMG for close range.
Post-buff the low-recoil profile is meaningfully better. Old loadouts built to fight the old recoil pattern feel noticeably worse. Rebuild from scratch.
