Split Phainon and Aglaea onto separate MoC and PF teams in Honkai Star Rail 3.6. Who gets Sunday, Cerydra DDD timing, speed tuning, and the sustain vs sustainless decision.
Core goal: Field two functional teams so both DPS get enough energy, action value, and buffs to 0 to 2 cycle their side. Phainon and Aglaea compete hard for Sunday, Cyrene or RMC, and premium sustains. The practical solution the community uses is splitting them onto separate sides rather than forcing them onto one team. Do not run them together unless you are doing a meme or showcase run.
1Decide Who Gets Sunday First
- 1Give Sunday to Aglaea if she is E0.
Players repeatedly say she feels unplayable without his energy and dual advance (her plus Garmentmaker).
- 2Give Sunday to Phainon if Aglaea has E1 (or you have Cyrene for her).
Phainon still works with Bronya plus Cerydra plus RMC.
2Build the Two Sides
Phainon (base SPD or around 115 out-of-combat so Cerydra technique puts him at 131 to 135).
Cerydra (Eagle plus Vonwacq, around 128 to 140 SPD, DDD if you have it).
Sunday or Bronya (Sacerdos, 130 to 135 SPD).

Sunday (if not on Phainon) or RMC.

Hyacine, Huohuo, DHPT, or Evernight.

- 3For Aglaea plus Sunday, avoid the old double-speed plus 1 (165 or more Aglaea, 134 Sunday).
Community consensus is it underperforms. Use 160 or more Sunday with Aglaea slightly faster or the Eagle or Vonwacq variants instead.
Key Decisions
- Only one Sunday? Prioritize Aglaea E0. Phainon can use Bronya plus Cerydra plus RMC (Shadow Burn LC on RMC for fast Mem charge).
- Have Cyrene? She can go on either side. Some players put her with Phainon to free Sunday for Aglaea. Others keep her with Aglaea because her energy helps Garmentmaker uptime.
- Sustainless vs safe: High-investment Phainon (E2 or more) often goes sustainless. Aglaea E0 usually wants a real sustain unless you have E1 plus Cyrene.
Common Mistakes
- Putting both DPS on the same team. They starve each other of energy and action value.
- Running Aglaea E0 without Sunday and without Cyrene or RMC energy battery. She feels unplayable without energy support.
- Ignoring Cerydra technique plus DDD timing on Phainon. You lose the seamless second ult.
- Building Aglaea too slow when Sunday is only 134 SPD. She overtakes him after stacks and the rotation falls apart.
