Goal: Replenish oxygen without dying. Your suit tank is small, the starting wreck field is huge, and safe interiors are not infinite air anymore. Players keep dying because they sprint back to the train instead of using Oxyworm nests, Air Stations, and consumables that sit a short hop from wherever they already are.

1Oxyworm Nests (The Thing Most People Miss)

    Open the Encyclopedia and look up worm nests so you know the icon and look.

    Hunt blue tentacle or goo clusters on asteroids.

    Community calls them green/blue tentacles wrapping rocks.

    Fly into the nest until the on-screen prompt appears.

    Hold the interact button until your tank fills.
  • 5
    The nest empties. Leave. Come back later, it recharges on its own.

    Do not camp one nest forever.

Key decision: If you are mid-explore and at 50% O2, go to the nearest nest, not all the way home. Nests are spread through the first area. Missing them is why people thought air was too limited.

2Catch and Use Oxyworms

    Eat one for a small instant top-up.

    Craft Purified Oxygen once you have picked up an Oxyworm: 2 Oxyworm + 1 Metal + 1 Ice.

    Community also uses them for Air Candle-type consumables when you have the extra mats.

    A smaller metal + oxyworm item restores about 30.

    Use that the same way: emergency, not your main plan.

Decision: Eat one if you are about to black out. Craft if you have ice and metal and want a bigger, portable refill for the next wreck.

3Air Stations (Blue Platforms and the Train)

    First public station players call out: near Babe, by the train-car entrance.

    Look for blue platforms. Interact and hold to pull air into your tank.

    Stations, including the train, have a finite pool. They are not the old stand-here-forever rooms.

    Community fix for a dead station: use water bottles on it to put air back in.

    Later: find oxygen vents on asteroids and place your own crafted Air Station there from inventory or hotbar.

    Do not only dump the item on the ground.

Deploy mistake: Craft it at the pod/processor, put it on hotbar slots 1-4, equip it like a tool, place when the ghost is valid, then hold to deploy. Hold interact on the balloon or station to drink its air. Dropping from the inventory bag does not deploy it. People lose the craft and think it vanished.

4Interiors You Already Own

    Do not treat the train as the only refill in the zone.

5Upgrade Your Tank

    Prioritize that over cosmetics. More tank means fewer nest hops.
Turn around at half tank until you have an upgrade and a nest chain. Suffocation still shreds health fast.
