Aniimo Game Pass Exclusive Monthly Reward Pack: How to Claim
Game Pass subscribers get a monthly pack - 1 Aniipod Ultra, 15 Growth Flowers, 300 Glimmer - but the Perks tab just launches the game. The pack arrives as in-game mail, and mail only appears after you unlock the mailbox.
Core problem: Game Pass subscribers expect the pack and cannot find it. The Xbox Perks tab only launches the game - the actual delivery is an in-game mail, and the mail UI does not exist until you play far enough into the story to unlock the mailbox. This is not the $4.99 in-game Monthly Pass, which is a separate paid shop item.
1What You Should Have
With an active Game Pass Essential, Premium, Ultimate, or PC Game Pass subscription on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, or the Xbox PC app:
- 11x Aniipod Ultra
100% catch rate pod.
- 215x Growth Flowers
Each is a large XP feed for one Aniimo.
- 3300x Glimmer
Described as a monthly pack for Xbox and PC Game Pass players. PlayStation and mobile players do not get this pack.
2Claim It Right Now
- 1Confirm the right subscription and platform.
Play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, or PC through the Xbox / Game Pass app while the sub is active. The game itself is free-to-play; Game Pass is what grants the pack.
- 2Play until the mailbox unlocks.
The step almost everyone misses. Early on there is no mail UI - keep doing the main story until the mailbox appears. Players who think the perk is "broken" almost always just have not unlocked mail yet.
- 3Open mail.
Pause (Esc on PC). The mailbox is the mail / gift icon on the far right. Look for mail labeled something like XGP / Xbox Game Pass gift and claim it. Items go to inventory - no code or Perks-tab redeem needed.
- 4If the Xbox Perks tab only says "launch game," that is expected.
For this title the perk is delivered inside Aniimo, not as a Microsoft Store code.
- 5After claiming, park the Ultra.
Ultra pods sit on a special throw key. Open inventory and unequip it so you do not accidentally burn it on a common wild catch. Save it for a rare, Prismana, or Alpha you actually want guaranteed.
- 6Use the flowers on a keeper.
Do not spray all 15 on random early catches. Pick the Aniimo you plan to main or evolve and dump the flowers there.
Decision Points
| Situation | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Mail still empty after a chunk of story | Keep playing the main quest until the mail icon exists, then relog once. |
| You also bought a pre-order pack | Same mailbox. Pre-order items are separate mails - the handbook must be Used from inventory or the battle pass stays locked. |
| Only Game Pass Core / no Game Pass | You can still play F2P, but you will not get this pack. |
| Thinking of buying the $4.99 Monthly Pass | Different product: instant Lumin Crystals plus daily Glimmer/EXP. Do not buy it expecting the Game Pass Ultra pack. |
| Cloud vs console vs PC Xbox app | Same account plus active qualifying Game Pass should work. Claim on the first character that unlocks mail. |
Common Mistakes
- Waiting on the Game Pass Perks page instead of playing to the mailbox unlock.
- Confusing this pack with the paid Monthly Pass or the Companion Handbook.
- Using the Ultra immediately on the first shiny-looking wild spawn.
- Creating a second character and wondering why mail is empty. Rewards go to the first character that can open mail.
- Assuming PS5 or mobile get a similar perk. They do not for this pack.
