Surviving the Sanity system
Don't linger in chases
Sanity drains while any roaming Infected has aggro on you. Break line of sight and end chases fast — empty Sanity starts eating your max stamina until you can't sprint at all.
Socks are lifelines
Grab socks when you see them; they're the direct Sanity refill for deep floors where chases are unavoidable.
Watch for gas leaks
A gas leak on the floor increases stamina consumption and slows regen — reroute objectives or stock coffee first.
Split jobs by stat
High-Hacking agents take computers, high-Extracting take machines, fast agents bait chases. Everyone doing their stat's job shortens the run.
