Steal an Egg

The core loop

Every session is the same four steps, repeated faster and deeper each time.

1. 1
   Approach a nest

   Eggs sit in biome nests guarded by an animal. Check the guardian's patrol before you touch anything.

2. 2
   Grab and run

   Pick the egg up (E on desktop, or the on-screen prompt) and leave immediately — hesitation is how runs die.

3. 3
   Hatch it in your pen

   Only eggs that reach your fenced pen count. Rare eggs can take hours to hatch; size and mutations affect the wait.

   Pets pay, treadmill builds speed

   Placed pets generate money every second. Spend it on upgrades and treadmill training — speed is the only stat that gates progression.

Biome speed requirements

Enter a biome under its recommended speed and the guardian will catch you, ragdoll you, and drop your egg.

Stealing without getting caught

1. 1
   Scout the exit first

   Watch the guardian's patrol and plan your escape route before grabbing. A pickup with no exit plan is a lost run.

   Use bear traps on chasers

   You can drop bear traps from your inventory to slow a pursuing guardian. Save them for chases you would otherwise lose.

   Watch for other players

   Rivals can steal the egg straight out of your hands on the way back. The same works in reverse — contested servers are fair game.

   Claim index rewards

   Each new pet logged in your Index tab pays a reward. Pets like the Unicorn carry useful bonuses, so check the Index after every hatch.
