The premise

Late at night you answer a call for help from Abu Abdullah, an elderly man whose son Abdullah lies bedridden - tormented by nightmares that local healers traced to black magic. The recurring dreams point at the abandoned neighborhood school. Abu Abdullah sends you to investigate, with one warning: beware the "neighborhood madman" wandering the park.

Spoiler-light first, spoilers after. The three parts below describe objectives - the story twist is saved for its own section at the bottom.

Part 1 - The park and the school key

  1. 1
    Meet Abu Abdullah

Enter the open house down the road and hear him out from the majlis - he explains the curse and hands you the errand.

  2. 2
Cross the park to Al-Safa grocery

The school gate key is with the grocery clerk on the far side of the park - memorize the layout, you'll make multiple trips.

  3. 3
    Avoid the barefoot singer

A man in a thobe patrols the paths singing - if he touches you, you die instantly. Keep distance and use the park's bends to break line of sight.

  4. 4
    Watch your phone

An unknown sender texts "I am watching you the whole time" - the stalking is part of the story, not a random event.

Part 2 - The school chemistry puzzle

  1. 1
    Unlock the school

Use the gate key from the grocery clerk and explore the abandoned building.

  2. 2
    Find the chemicals

The master key is locked in the chemistry lab - the ingredients for the experiment are spread across multiple floors, so expect backtracking.

  3. 3
    Run the experiment

Complete the chemistry puzzle to retrieve the master key.

  4. 4
    Listen in the principal's office

A recorded confession fills in why the curse exists - pay attention, it sets up the finale.

Part 3 - The apartment and the desert

  1. 1
    Apartment 7

Go to the top floor and speak to the elderly man, then follow him when he leaves.

  2. 2
    The pink monster's question

Pick the left option - the two green hands holding each other. The attack that follows is scripted, you can't fail it.

  3. 3
    The mirror room

Pull the mirror to see your reflection and watch for the yellow monster moving inside it - hit it with the UV flashlight when you spot it. Repeat; when it shatters the mirror, grab the spare from the bathroom.

  4. 4
    Into the desert

Help the wounded shepherd with natural myrrh and fresh water from the nearby tent, then dig up the buried bottle - the physical curse.

  5. 5
    Drive back

Sprint to the car and return to the neighborhood to deliver the cure.

The twist (full spoilers)

The house is dark and locked when you return. A neighbor across the road tells you the truth: Abu Abdullah died years ago, and his son was driven mad by the curse - never cured. The flashback reveals the origin: teacher Nasser, consumed by professional envy, paid the sorcerer Abu Noura 2,000 riyals to bury a curse on his colleague Abdullah. Abu Noura almost refused - but his daughter Noura wanted sweets and a cake he couldn't afford, and the pact was sealed. The barefoot singer who stalked you through the park was Abu Noura himself.

Like the title says - a mirage. The whole errand was layered deception, and the three endings decide how much of it you walk away from.
