R.E.P.O. is PC-only right now — no PS5 or Xbox version exists. A Switch 2 release is officially confirmed for 2027, and the developers have said wider console ports get looked at once the game leaves Early Access.

Watch out for fakes: a listing called "R.E.P.O Horror" appeared on the PlayStation Store in 2025 — it was a copycat from a different team and has since been removed. Only buy from semiwork's real Steam page.

What the game is

Retrieve, Extract and Profit Operation.

You and up to five friends are semibots working for a mysterious computer intelligence. Each run drops you into a procedurally assembled haunted location — grab physics-based valuables (pianos, ceramics, dinosaur statues), haul them to the extraction point to fill the cash quota, and get back to the truck. Damage an object and its value drops. Proximity voice chat plus monsters that obey gravity make it equal parts horror and slapstick. Between levels you spend SURPLUS at the Service Station on upgrades, weapons and tools.

Sunstone Update (v0.5.0, Oct 29, 2026)

FAQ

Is the R.E.P.O. game on PS5?

No — there is no official PS5 version. The "R.E.P.O Horror" listing that appeared on the PlayStation Store was an unrelated copycat and has been removed. The only confirmed console release is Switch 2 in 2027.

Is R.E.P.O. cross-platform?

There's only one platform right now (PC on Steam), so crossplay isn't a factor yet. A Switch 2 version arrives in 2027; crossplay details haven't been announced.

How many people can play R.E.P.O. together?
