Realistic Phone Drop Test (Roblox)
A physics sandbox from Gaming Group Era that went viral within two weeks of its October 4, 2026 launch: pick up a phone, then drop it, soak it, set it on fire, overcharge it, smash it - and repair it again. Or just use it like a normal phone. Breaking and fixing devices earns Chips, Chips unlock better phones, and the developer adds new models every time the game hits a likes target. Below: the truth about "codes", how the Chips loop works, and what the Robux items actually buy.
There are no Realistic Phone Drop Test codes. The game has no code-redemption box anywhere in its menus as of October 23, 2026, and the developer has never posted one. Any site listing "working codes" for this game is making them up - see the list of fakes below. Free Chips come from playing, and from the like-milestone unlocks the developer runs.
"Codes" being passed around that don't work
These strings appear on auto-generated code sites. None can be entered anywhere in the game.
How Chips work
Chips are the only currency. Every interaction that changes a phone's state pays out, and the better the phone, the more it pays.
- 1Break it
Drops from height, throwing it at walls, fire, water and overcharging all cause damage - cracked glass, dead screen, swollen battery. Each damage state you reach earns Chips, so a phone that goes through several stages pays more than one that dies in a single fall.
- 2Repair it
Take the wrecked phone to the repair station and fix it. Repairs pay out again, which is why the fastest farm is a tight break-repair loop rather than one spectacular destruction.
- 3Unlock the next phone
Spend Chips on higher-tier devices. They're tougher (more damage stages before they're dead) and pay more per stage - the upgrade pays for itself quickly.
- 4Watch the likes counter
New phones and new test environments are promised at each likes milestone. They're free for everyone once unlocked, which is the "LIKE GAME FOR MORE PHONES" in the title.
What the Robux items actually do
Two game passes and a ladder of Chips packs. None are required - this is a sandbox, not a race.
| Item | Price | What you get | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| x2 Chips (pass) | 199 Robux | Permanent double Chips from every break and repair | Best value if you plan to grind phones |
| Personal Delivery Drone (pass) | 59 Robux | A drone that brings phones/items to you instead of walking to the stations | Convenience |
| 12,500 Chips | 25 Robux | One-time Chips | Skip - a few minutes of play |
| 27,000 / 60,000 Chips | 49 / 99 Robux | One-time Chips | Skip - x2 pass outearns them fast |
| 140,000 / 400,000 / 1,000,000 Chips | 199 / 499 / 999 Robux | One-time Chips | Only to skip straight to the top phones |
Things to try
The height ladder
Drop the same phone from each platform height in order. The game models impact by fall distance and landing angle - a corner landing from low height can crack more than a flat landing from high up.
Water, then charger
Soak a phone, then plug it in. The failure animation is different from a plain water death and pays a separate damage stage.
Overcharge
Leave a phone on the charger past full. The battery swells and eventually the back pops - one of the few ways to destroy a phone without touching it.
Burn-repair-burn
Fire is the quickest full-destroy. Pair it with the repair station for the tightest Chips loop once you own a mid-tier phone.
Just use it
Phones work as phones - charge them, open the screen, carry them around. Half the fun with friends in a 25-player server is the contrast between the person filming and the person throwing.
Delivery drone tricks
If you own the drone pass, you can keep breaking at a high platform while it ferries fresh phones up - no walking back down.
FAQ
Is Realistic Phone Drop Test free?
Yes. It's a free Roblox experience, open to everyone, on PC, mobile, tablet and console. Robux items are optional.
Are the phones real brands?
They're look-alikes - recognisable shapes and camera layouts without logos or model names. New ones arrive through the like-milestone unlocks.
Why is my phone not taking damage?
Higher-tier phones have more durability stages, so early drops may only scuff them. Use fire or a top-platform drop, or go back to a cheaper phone for quick Chips.
How long is a session?
The average is around 10 minutes - it's a pick-up-and-play sandbox. Grinding to the top phones takes a few sessions without the x2 pass.
Will codes be added?
Possibly - many Roblox sims add a Codes button after the first month. Until a redeem box appears in the game itself, treat every code list as fake.
