Penguin Smack
A furry yeti, a baseball bat, and one very unlucky penguin. Time a single swing, then watch the penguin fly, bounce and skid down an endless frozen lake full of boost pads, barrels and rockets — every run lands on a worldwide leaderboard.
How a run works
- 1Time one swing
The penguin arcs toward the yeti — swing when it hits the ring. PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD or SHANKED decides your launch speed; a perfect smack leaves the bat at 200+ km/h.
- 2Let the lake take over
Boost pads, trampolines, exploding barrels, gummy bumpers, wind tunnels, ice ramps, rideable rockets and a rare cannon keep the run alive. Ice walls halve your chain; snow drifts slow you down.
- 3Chain hits for speed
Every consecutive hit grows your chain multiplier. Catch a whole arc of golden fish to trigger a Fish Frenzy that throws the penguin forward and up.
- 4Hit the leaderboard
Every run posts to one worldwide board next to a live count of every penguin ever smacked. Put your name on it or keep the random one it gives you. Bad launch? Press R to skip and swing again.
Controls
Swing
Tap the screen, click, press Space, or press A on a gamepad. That's the entire input — the lake does the rest.
Skip a run
R skips a bad launch so you can swing again immediately instead of watching a dud roll out.
Sound & board
M mutes sound effects, N turns the music off, L opens the leaderboard.
FAQ
Is Penguin Smack free?
Yes — free in the browser on desktop and phone, in portrait or landscape. No download, no account.
Is the leaderboard real?
Yes — there's a single worldwide board shared by everyone playing the game, and big records are replayed with the game's own physics before they're accepted, so the top of the board is legit.
Who made it?
