What the order actually wants

  1. 1
    Crashed Crate has two counters

Page 10 asks for three Lost Supply Drops and one Loot Radio Tower Side Op — separate objectives. Check which half you still need before deploying.

  2. 2
    It only counts once

The ~20,000 DMZ Cash, Large Backpack and Basic Triage Kit payout is for the whole Orders page — finishing the tower alone won't trigger the chapter reward.

  3. 3
    Not every tower counts

SAM-site crates, UAV tower activations and Triangulation transmitters look similar but don't tick this objective — the named "Loot Radio Tower" Side Op must appear.

Finding a radio tower

  1. ●
Seven fixed spots, no map marker

Hajin has seven radio-tower locations — they never move, but nothing pings them from the Tac-Map. Learn two or three near your spawn lane.

  2. ●
    Listen for the cue

When a Loot Radio Tower Side Op is active nearby, an audio cue plays as you approach — if you hear it, the op is there to complete. C6 (marked by red smoke) and D8 near Imjin Farmland are commonly reported encounters — search leads, not guaranteed spawns.

  3. ●
    Sometimes it just isn't up

The op isn't guaranteed every deployment — if nothing cues at a known spot, move to the next tower or next match rather than re-climbing a dead tower.

The climb

  1. 1
    Find the fence opening

Enter the compound at the fence gap, then look for the first ladder on the exterior.

  2. 2
    Ledge left at ladder top

Where the first ladder ends, look left for a ledge — the route continues along exterior platforms marked with hazard stripes.

  3. 3
    Parkour if the ladder's blown

On damaged towers, climb nearby crates or buildings to reach the platforms — the exterior route is always up, never through.

  4. 4
    Loot the top container

Complete the top interaction — that ticks the Side Op — then hit the prompt to drop a rappel rope so your squad doesn't have to climb.

  5. 5
    Confirm the credit

Open Orders and check Crashed Crate ticked before you move on — it's the difference between done and a second deployment.

Counts toward Opulent: this Side Op counts for the "complete 6 Side Ops in one deployment" order too — stack it with Dynamic Ops phones if you're running that page.

FAQ

Where are the radio towers in MW4 DMZ?

Seven fixed spots across the Hajin map — unmarked on the Tac-Map. Commonly reported encounters are C6 (red smoke) and D8 near Imjin Farmland; the op activates with an audio cue as you close in.

Why didn't climbing the tower complete the order?

Either the Loot Radio Tower Side Op wasn't active at that tower this deployment, or you interacted with the wrong object — SAM crates and UAV consoles don't count. Check Crashed Crate's counter after the top interaction.

Is the radio tower the same as the UAV tower?

No — UAV Towers and Lieutenant Hunt Towers are different, map-marked activities. Radio towers are unmarked world objects you find in person.

What do the Lost Supply Drops look like?

The other half of Crashed Crate — crates under red smoke, sometimes hanging from trees or scenery that need cutting down first.
