How to play

    Pick an ingredient

    Click one in the tray — eight ingredients plus Empty. Leaving a slot blank is often correct: real recipes have gaps.

    Fill the grid

    Place ingredients on the 3×3 crafting grid the way a real recipe might sit — shape and position both matter.

  3. 3
    Check and read the marks

    Every slot gets marked: Correct (right ingredient, right slot), Move (in the recipe, wrong slot), or Not needed (not in the recipe).

  4. 4
    Solve in 10 guesses

    Adjust and check again. A repeated arrangement doesn't count, so every guess earns information.

Think like a recipe

Tool shapes, food shapes, armor shapes — if you've crafted it in Minecraft, you already know where ingredients tend to sit.

Use the first guess to map

Spread distinct ingredients across the grid. You're buying information about what's in the recipe, not solving it yet.

Move means swap, not drop

A Move ingredient is confirmed to belong — shuffle it into an untested slot before doubting it.

Empty is an ingredient

Recipes with gaps are common — a slot that stays unfilled on purpose is a legitimate guess, not a wasted one.
