Cat logic puzzle Tap a cell to mark ✕, tap again (or right-click) to place a cat — one per row, column and colour, none touching.

The rules in 30 seconds

  1. 1
    One cat per row

Every row holds exactly one cat — once a row has its cat, every other cell there stays empty.

  2. 2
    One cat per column

Same for columns — a placed cat blocks its whole column.

  3. 3
    One cat per colour

The board is split into coloured regions, and each region gets exactly one cat too.

  4. 4
    Cats never touch

No two cats may sit side by side or corner to corner — a cat blocks all eight cells around it. Place all of them and the board lights up.

Solving tips

Mark ✕ early

Tap a cell once for ✕ — ruling out impossible cells is faster than hunting the cat directly.

Start with small regions

A two-cell colour region halves the board instantly — place its constraints first.

Touching is the trap

Diagonal adjacency is the rule people forget — check all eight neighbours before placing.

Conflicts glow red

Clashing cats highlight immediately, so a red board means re-examine your last placement.
