The escape route is top-down. You spawn on floor 3 and work down one sealed floor at a time until the exit on floor 1. Each floor gates progress behind fuses, a fuse box, and a floor key card with its reader - find them, deliver them, descend.

The noise rules that decide whether you live

The creature hears you - your noise meter is the difference between searching a room and starting a chase. It can also see you: quiet does not mean invisible, and your flashlight gives you away too.

ActionNoiseRule of thumb
CrouchingQuietest movementDefault to crouching whenever the creature is near
WalkingLouder than crouchFine on safe stretches; watch the meter
JumpingMakes noiseStop hopping - every jump is a tell
Opening doorsMakes noisePick a room before opening; don't pop every door
Voice chatCounts as noiseMute your mic near the creature; use short calls like "floor two, card reader"
Chase rules: closing a door slows the creature but it can break doors - keep moving after slamming one. Run toward a hiding spot you already identified, not an unfamiliar corner.

Real hiding spots vs office furniture

Not every desk is cover. Learn the two real hiding options before a chase forces a bad decision.

ObjectWhat it is
LockersReal hiding spots - mark their locations as you explore
Small benches without computersReal hiding spots - easy to walk past
Filing cabinetsSearch targets, not shelter - don't confuse them with lockers mid-chase
Desks / workstationsNot guaranteed cover - ducking under a random desk leaves you visible
Room check on entry: exit route first, then hiding spot, then searchable furniture. If the creature walks in mid-search, leave - finishing the check is not worth a life.

Fuses, key cards and the descent

  1. 1
    Read the opening instructions

The intro explains noise, hiding and your floor objective - skipping it means learning furniture during a chase.

  2. 2
Search filing cabinets for the floor's items

Fuses feed fuse boxes; the floor key card opens the card reader route downward.

  3. 3
Match item to interaction before carrying it

When you find a fuse, fix the fuse box location in your head first. When you find a card, confirm which reader it feeds. Don't haul an item without knowing its destination.

  4. 4
    Descend floor by floor

Floor 3 → floor 2 → floor 1 exit. Announce your floor number to teammates - "I found it" helps nobody who's on another level.

  5. 5
    After being caught, check inventory

A dropped key card means you already found it - check before searching the floor again. Lives are limited unless you buy the pass.

Multiplayer, badges and the paid passes

ThingDetail
Playing togetherGroup up through Roblox Party or join the same server - coordinate quietly in-game since voice chat adds noise
SoloFully playable alone and arguably easier to stay silent - no teammate footsteps
Badges"Welcome" for joining, "You Escaped" for making it out - the escaped badge is the one worth chasing
Infinite Lives pass79 Robux - removes the lives limit; learn the map first, it doesn't teach you where the card reader is
NVG pass69 Robux - better vision in dark areas; useful but remember light makes you visible

MALOCH is in active development - doors break, objectives move, and bugs are expected per the developer. If you get an access error (Error Code 524), it's usually your Roblox privacy or age settings blocking the experience, not the game being down.

FAQ

How do you escape MALOCH?

Work downward: search filing cabinets for fuses and floor key cards, deliver them to the fuse box and card reader on each floor, and reach the exit on floor 1 - all while managing noise so the creature doesn't find you.

Can the creature hear my voice?

Yes - in-game voice chat counts as noise. Keep your mic muted near it and use short floor-plus-landmark calls when you must talk.

Where do you hide?

Lockers and the small benches without computers are real hiding spots. Random desks and workstations are not reliable cover - the creature can spot you under them.

Can you play MALOCH with friends?

Yes - form a Roblox Party or join the same server. Call locations by floor number and landmark; long voice exchanges near the creature get everyone caught.
