What it is

Inkhead trades Cuphead's 1930s rubber-hose look for an ink-and-paper cartoon style built inside Roblox. You play a walking ink jar armed with a pea shooter, fighting through a lineup of cartoon bosses. It launched in late September 2026 and pulled in over a million visits in its first weeks — one of the faster-growing shooters on the platform.

How a fight works

  1. 1
Pick a boss from the map

Bosses are the core content — each is a multi-phase cartoon fight with its own patterns, closer to Cuphead's structure than a typical Roblox wave game.

  2. 2
    Parry the pink stuff

Anything pink can be parried — a mechanic lifted straight from Cuphead. Parries are the difference between scraping through and mastering a fight.

  3. 3
    Climb to the Clock King

The Clock King sits at the top of the boss ladder. Beat the lineup, then take him down.

  4. 4
    Bring a friend

Solo or co-op — co-op makes boss phases noticeably easier since damage gets split across two shooters.

Difficulty and tips

ModeWhat to expect
CasualLearn the patterns — developer's own description is "casual to learn"
ExpertFaster patterns, tighter parry windows — "Expert to suffer" is the official tagline

Start on Casual and finish the boss roster once before touching Expert. Learn which attacks are pink before you commit to parries — misreading a pink cue is how most runs end.
