Gray Zone Warfare Dynamo Locations
Dynamo is the hideout material everyone stalls on in the 0.5 Rogue Ops update — every Generator level needs one. Where it spawns and the route that gets you stocked.
Quick answer: farm the Supply Yard in Northern Reach (maintenance building workbench + the crate by the green containers) and the YBL-1 generator room. Dynamos spawn in the open on workbenches, crates and pallets — not in locked containers.
Best spawn spots

Check the blue workbench inside the maintenance building — a Dynamo often sits beside Motor Oil on the shelf — then the wooden crate outside next to the green shipping containers.

Bring a flashlight — it's dark inside. Check the generator room on the lower level, the air room, storage shelves on bunker floors, and the supply shack by the vehicle dump heading into YBL West. 0.5 added a keypad lock on the generator room — slower to clear than the yard.

Mechanical supply areas, repair facilities, garages and industrial interiors — always in the open on surfaces, never inside blue-striped locked crates.

FAQ
Why can't I find a Dynamo?
You're probably checking containers — Dynamos only spawn in the open on workbenches, shelves, crates and pallets, and the spawn isn't guaranteed every raid. Re-run the Supply Yard.
How many Dynamos do I need?
One per Generator — plan on at least 2 early so the hideout's power chain doesn't stall.
Is YBL-1 still worth it with the keypad?
Yes but slower — 0.5 added the keypad lock on the generator room, so the Supply Yard is the faster first stop now.
