Genshin Prediction Event: Predictive Victory Dynamics
The Genshin prediction event running now is Predictive Victory Dynamics — a Natlan event where you don't fight at all. You watch simulated monster battles, place Victory Emblems on the team you think will win, and earn Primogems for accurate calls.
Quick answer: the "genshin prediction event" is Predictive Victory Dynamics. Travel to the Children of Echoes territory in Natlan, talk to Vigee, Liliuo and Wislawa at the Combat Simulator, then place Victory Emblems on the winning team in each simulated battle. Predictions ran Oct 12–20; the results phase — where you collect rewards — runs until October 23.
Each round has its own 24-hour window. Once a round's prediction deadline passed, its participation reward is gone for good — and HoYoverse warns this event's timing is unusual. Trust the "Time Remaining for This Prediction Round" counter in the event screen, not generic schedules.
Schedule and requirements
| Phase | Window (UTC+8) | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Predictions | Oct 12 10:00 – Oct 20 09:59 | 8 rounds unlock over the week; each round's picks close after 24h |
| Results | Oct 20 10:00 – Oct 23 09:59 | Watch replays, collect Prediction Score rewards |
| Entry req. | — | Adventure Rank 20+ and Archon Quest Prologue Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" completed |
HoYoverse recommends finishing Chapter VII Act IV "A Rekviem for the Underworld" first for the best story experience, but it is not required to play the event.
How predictions work
- 1Open the prediction board in Natlan
Find the Combat Simulator setup in the Children of Echoes territory — the event marker leads you there. Speak with the NPCs to unlock the board.
- 2Get your Victory Emblems
Each round gives you a set number of emblems. 8 rounds cover 16 simulated battles total (two battles per round).
- 3Study both lineups
Press a unit's avatar to inspect its ATK, Max HP and combat skills, and check each side's Support Level — locked shortly before battle — because it multiplies your score if your pick wins. Starting positions matter too.
- 4Place emblems on the winner
Assign any number of emblems to the team you back. Both sides start losing HP continuously after some time in battle, so slow-burn lineups can flip late.
- 5Collect Prediction Score rewards
After each battle you earn a Prediction Score from the result and your accuracy. Hit the score thresholds to unlock material rewards; watch replays if you missed the live sim.
Rewards
Up to 420 Primogems across the event, split between per-round participation rewards and Prediction Score thresholds.
| Reward type | How to earn | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| Participation | Place a prediction in each round | Primogems · Mora · Hero's Wit |
| Prediction Score | Hit score thresholds per round | Primogems · upgrade materials |
