What's in the Launch Preview

  1. 1
    Every game mode

Unlike old beta builds, the preview ships with all modes — including Shuffle Draft, the new fast-paced multiplayer mode.

  2. 2
    Close to launch quality

The Launch Preview replaces what used to be called Beta / Advanced Access — closer to final than previous early builds, though a few bugs and unlicensed data gaps remain.

  3. 3
    New tactics layer

Tactical Tweaks and Tactical Effectiveness add control on the training ground and the touchline, alongside a clearer interface and an enhanced match engine.

  4. 4
    Game Pass caveat

On Game Pass, the preview needs Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass — standard tiers don't include it. Platforms may also go live at slightly different times.

FAQ

Is FM27 early access free?

Yes — the Launch Preview is free for everyone on PC/Mac until 6pm GMT November 3. After that it needs a pre-purchase or Game Pass subscription.

Do I lose my save when the free period ends?

No — saves carry into both the paid preview and the November 10 full release.

What's different from last year's beta?

The name is new but the idea evolved: the Launch Preview is meant to be nearer final quality and ships with all modes from day one.

Is it on console or mobile?

The free preview is PC and Mac only — console and mobile versions follow their own release tracks.
