How to Find Mysidia in Final Fantasy Resonance
Chapter 5, "Scars of Time", hands you the airship and immediately asks you to locate a hidden city nobody has ever seen. Here is where Mysidia actually sits and how the radar game works.
Fast answer: Mysidia is hidden in the southern part of the world map — fly south of the Kingdom of Pharm, pass between the mainland's southern tip and the two small islands beside it, then ping the radar to reveal the city.
How the Mysidia radar works
Once you board the airship interior in Chapter 5, Shera, Evan and Lid fit it with a radar that detects the magic concealing Mysidia.
- 1Board the airship and enter its interior
Two quick objectives in the imperial capital — the airship is yours from this point on.
- 2Fly and ping
Press the right trigger while flying to send out a scan. Lid calls out the result each time.
- 3Read Lid's hints
"It's faint, but I'm getting a reading" means the right direction; if she reports losing the signal, turn around and sweep another sector. Close in and she starts naming a cardinal direction — "hotspot to the north", "just a little to the south".
- 4Ping on the exact spot
At the right location a cutscene plays and Mysidia's camouflage drops.
The exact spot, if you'd rather skip the search
The random-ping approach works but can take a while. To go straight there:
- 1Find the Kingdom of Pharm
The large landmass on the west of the map.
- 2Fly to its southern edge
Note the mainland's southern tip and the two small islands sitting off it.
- 3Pass between them and keep going south
Mysidia sits right between the mainland tip and those two islands — ping the radar there and the city appears.
FAQ
What happens after I find Mysidia?
You meet Sakura in the Magiapolis and she joins the party — she's one of the strongest magic attackers in the roster. The chapter continues with the Nameless Ruins and the Tower of Mysidia.
Why isn't the radar picking anything up?
You need the Chapter 5 "Find Mysidia" objective active — the radar only reacts to the concealment magic during that quest stage. Make sure you're scanning while airborne on the world map, not inside a zone.
Is Mysidia missable?
No — it's a mandatory main-story objective in Chapter 5. You can't skip it or permanently fail the search.
Anything else hidden by the radar?
Yes — after Mysidia the same radar is reused for world-map treasures, including parts that upgrade the radar itself.
