Feetle
A daily word-ladder puzzle: get from today's starting word to the word FEET in as few steps as possible. Every step must be a real English word exactly one letter different from the last — SEED to FEED is a legal move.
How it works
- 1Read today's starting word
A new start word is chosen every day. Your target is always the same: reach the word FEET.
- 2Change exactly one letter per step
Each word in your chain must be a real word differing by a single letter. The game tracks how many steps you take.
- 3Chase the shortest path
The challenge is not just finishing — it is finding the fewest-word route and beating your own count (and your friends').
- 4Come back tomorrow
A countdown shows when the next puzzle drops. Everyone worldwide gets the same word each day.
Tips for shorter ladders
- 1Work backwards from FEET
Words one letter from FEET (FEEL, FEED, FRET, FEST...) are often easier to spot than a path forward. Solve from both ends.
- 2Change vowels early
If the start word's vowels differ from FEET's double-E, swap vowels first — consonant frames rarely bridge the gap alone.
- 3Use real words only
Every link must be a valid word; the game rejects invented ones. Short, common words chain easiest.

If a new-puzzle-every-day format is the draw, Wordle, Knotwords and letter-ladder variants scratch the same itch.
