Eraly Daily Game
The Eraly game is Wordle for history: seven moments from the past each day, and one guess each — the year it happened. The closer you get, the further your time traveller walks. A perfect day is 700 points.
How a round works
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone. Each of the seven prompts is a real moment from history with the year stripped out — a battle, an invention, a famous first.
Read the moment
A short description of the event. No multiple choice — you have to pull a year out of your own head.
Guess the year
Type any year from 1 AD to today and press GO before the 25-second clock runs out.
Score by distance
The closer your guess, the more points — and the further your traveller moves along the time log. After each answer you see the real year and a short fact.
Share the journey
After the seventh answer, share your total out of 700 with coloured squares — no answers spoiled.
Scoring
Older events get a wider window — being 20 years off Pompeii is a great guess; 20 years off the iPhone is not.

Tips to travel further
Anchor to a period first
Decide which century the moment belongs to before picking a year. A rough era earns far more than a wild stab.
Use the tolerance
Ancient events forgive decades of error, modern ones only years. Spend your precision where the game is strict.
Never let the clock hit zero
Any answer scores at least 10. A last-second guess beats a timeout's 0 every time.
