Epic Seven on Steam
Epic Seven — Smilegate's turn-based hero-collector RPG — launched on Steam October 29, 2026. How to download it, move your existing STOVE or mobile account over without losing progress, and dodge the new-account trap.
Already play Epic Seven? Don't just launch the Steam version — it creates a fresh empty account. Transfer your existing email or Simple Login (SNS) account to a Simple Login (Steam) account first, and every hero, item and purchase comes with you. Progress also stays playable on the STOVE PC client and mobile after the transfer.
Play your existing account on Steam
- 1Transfer the login method, not the account
Any existing Epic Seven account — email or Simple Login (SNS) — can be converted to a Simple Login (Steam) account. It's not time-limited; transfers can be done at any point.
- 2Everything carries over
Heroes, gear, currency, unclaimed rewards, event items and Epic Pass progress — the account is the same one, just a new login door.
- 3Keep your other ways in
After transferring to STOVE Epic Seven's Steam login, the same account still works on the STOVE PC client and the mobile version — you can bounce between them.
The new-account trap (and how to escape it)
- 1Launched Steam first, made a fresh account?
You must delete that new Steam-linked account before you can transfer your real one — sign in on the STOVE site with the Steam login type, finish registration, then withdraw that account.
- 2The 15-day wait
Deleted STOVE accounts enter a 15-day recovery window. Transfers can be blocked until the deletion fully clears — so if you made the mistake today, expect the wait before your real account can move.
- 3Never delete from inside the game
In-game account deletion on a Steam-login account wipes your original server's progress completely — use the STOVE website withdrawal flow, and don't touch in-game delete at all.
New players: what the Steam launch gets you
New world server
Steam access opens into the new world — a fresh server environment where everyone's progression starts close to even.
Wishlist milestone rewards
The Steam page-launch event paid out Chronicle Bookmarks, a Mana Control Catalyst Selection Chest and Mystic Medals at 25k–100k wishlists — check the event page for what's still claimable.
Same game, easier PC play
Epic Seven is a fully-voiced animated turn-based RPG — the Steam build is the STOVE experience without the separate launcher install.
FAQ
Is Epic Seven free on Steam?
Yes — free to play like the mobile and STOVE PC versions, with the same account usable across all three.
What is STOVE, and do I still need it?
STOVE is Smilegate's platform — Steam login itself is a "Simple Login (Steam)" STOVE account under the hood. You don't need the separate STOVE client to play on Steam, but your account lives in that ecosystem either way.
I made a new Steam account by accident — is my old progress gone?
No, your original account is untouched. Withdraw the new Steam-linked account on the STOVE website, wait out any recovery window, then transfer your real account.
Can I move back to mobile after transferring?
Yes — the account keeps working on mobile and the STOVE PC client after the Steam transfer.
Steam Deck?
The PC build runs on Steam Deck with the usual caveat that it's a mouse-driven interface — playable, just designed for a cursor.
