Daily Delve
A free daily video game trivia dungeon. Seven questions a day about games — a PS2 title, a Zelda character, a FromSoftware boss — and the rarer your answer, the more XP takes your adventurer down toward the boss floor.
dailydelve.io
Daily Delve only runs on its own site — one dungeon per day, free without sign-up. Unlike most rare-answer games, your score never depends on what other players typed: every answer's rarity is fixed before anyone plays.
How a delve works
One run takes about four minutes. Questions stay hidden until you reach them.
-
1
Take the 30 seconds per question
Each of the 7 questions asks you to name something from the world of games. A wrong guess doesn't end the question — keep typing until one scores or the clock dies.
-
2
Whatever's typed at zero gets sent
If time runs out mid-answer, whatever sits in the box is submitted as your last answer — a half-typed guess can still save the question.
-
3
Score XP by preset rarity
Every question ships with a fixed answer bank, and each answer's rarity is decided ahead of time from how familiar it is to gamers — 10 XP for the obvious pick, up to 100 for the hidden Easter Egg.

Every 100 XP drops a floor
XP is distance: B1 Mossy Cave, B2 The Sewers and deeper themed floors. A perfect 700 XP reaches the bottom and defeats the boss.
The five XP tiers
Rarity is fixed before anyone plays — the crowd can't move your score.
| Tier | XP | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Main Quest | 10 | Common loot — the first answer most people think of |
| Side Quest | 30 | Uncommon — solid, and plenty of players went this way |
| Rare Drop | 60 | Rare — a genuinely uncommon pick. Nice find |
| Secret Area | 85 | Epic — proper deep knowledge. Few get here |
| Easter Egg | 100 | Legendary — the one hand-picked hidden answer for the question |
How to delve deeper
Use the whole 30 seconds
Failed guesses cost nothing — only the clock does. Keep throwing answers until one lands instead of freezing on a blank.
Think era and region
"A PS2 game" rewards the cult classic over the best-seller. Japan-only releases, launch-window titles and genre deep cuts are where Secret Area XP lives.
Bank something before zero
Since the box auto-submits, leave a safe answer sitting there while you think — even 10 XP beats an empty submit.
Practice in the archive
Past dungeons stay open — replay them as practice (they never count toward XP or streaks) and study which answers score high.
FAQ
Is Daily Delve free?
Yes — the daily dungeon is free with no sign-up. A free account adds lifetime XP, streaks, weekly and all-time leaderboards, and wardrobe gear for your adventurer.
When does the new dungeon open?
Every day at 04:00 UTC — 4 am UK time (5 am during British Summer Time).
Can I replay yesterday's delve?
Results lock on the day, but every past dungeon sits in the archive — open it to see all answers and Easter Eggs, or replay it as practice. Practice never counts toward XP or the leaderboard.
What is the Easter Egg answer?
One hand-picked answer per question worth the full 100 XP — the deepest cut the editors hid in the answer bank.
Does my score depend on other players?
No — rarity is fixed in the answer bank before anyone plays. What the crowd typed never changes what your answer is worth.
