Bramblin Pokemon GO
The haunted tumbleweed from Paldea made its Pokemon GO debut during the Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek event — and its evolution has an unusual buddy-walk requirement.
Event window: Oct 13–19, 2026. Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek has now ended. Bramblin was obtainable via regular Incense, "Earn a Candy exploring your Buddy" Field Research, and GO Pass rank 30/60 encounters. Whether it stays in the Incense pool post-event hasn't been confirmed — expect it to return in future Grass/Ghost events.
How to get Bramblin now
- ●Try regular Incense
It was an Incense spawn during the event — test if it persisted. Daily Adventure Incense doesn't count.
- ●Field Research
Look for "Earn a Candy exploring your Buddy" tasks — they awarded Bramblin (or Electrike) encounters.
- ●Wait for re-runs
Debut Pokemon usually reappear in later seasonal events — Halloween and Paldea-themed rotations are the most likely.
Evolving into Brambleghast
Two requirements, both mandatory — different from the main-series games.

Common mistake: collecting 50 Candy but no evolve button — check the 20km buddy distance first. Scarlet/Violet used 1,000 steps + level up; GO uses the 20km walk instead.
